*The house was rather lovely--not overly ostentatious, but still befitting someone of Marius' title. It actually felt rather odd to him to be coming here--he's spent enough time at Eponine's apartment that it'd slowly become like home.
For some reason, he felt a bit embarrassed at the opulence of the house*
"Here we are...home."

*She held his hand and looked it over. She was pleased, of course. It was gorgeous. And perfect. Like him.*
*She smiled up at him and squeezed his hand.*

*The interior was the same: richly appointed but in an understated manner. It was a bit empty, as it was only Marius and Aimee. Probably housekeepers...at least, he assumed they were still there.*
"I almost feel funny being back here. It's been so long since I've been home..."

*She was still having a minor heart attack. Was she seriously in charge of this place? Was she seriously married? Was she seriously a Baroness? Marius's Baroness?*
*And what was expected of her... you know... in the bedroom? She suddenly felt very small and inexperienced.*

*He may have been away from home for some time, but he hadn't forgotten how to navigate through the house. His feet easily followed the right pathway upstairs and down halls.
They DID run into a housekeeper--who looked so startled to see them that she merely stood there gaping a few moments before finally regaining her composure.*
"Monsieur Pontmercy!" She cried. Her eyes flicked to Aimee, seeking an introduction.*
"Lisette! Oh, it's good to see you again--" He finally noticed her look. "Oh, this is my wife, Aimee-Cosette."
*Lisette did a double-take at "wife", but quickly recovered and curtsied*
"A pleasure to meet you, Madame."

*She felt very awkward. And strange. But she smiled awkwardly nonetheless.*
"You as well."

*Lisette suddenly looked rather embarrassed*
"Forgive me...Madame la Baroness...er, we weren't expecting you, but your room is waiting for you."
*Marius smiled at her*
"It's all right, Lisette. And thank you."
*Lisette curtsied again and continued on her way--glancing back a few times as she did so*

*She squeezed Marius's hand gently to reassure herself. She was still pretty much glued to his side.*

*He gave her hand a gentle squeeze in return as they continued on their way. His--their--room was as Lisette had said: set nice and neatly, waiting for it's occupants to arrive. Marius heaved a sigh as he closed the door behind them*
"Well...this is it. Not very cheery, but I didn't decorate it."

*She giggled softly and looked up at him.*
"Well I can hardly have expected you to decorate it." *She teased. He was a a male, after all.*

((PSYCHO. I just mean if Lisette goes all Danvers on her then Aimee goes PSH HELL NO and is one scary-ass mistress.
She's got to have SOME backbone.

((A/N: I will eat you alive if you interrupt my squishy OTP again)) *She giggled softly and looked up at him.* "Well I can hardly have expected you to decorate it." *She teased. He was a a male, after all.* "Heh...I at least could have told them not to make it so gloomy." *He moved further into the room, distantly noting that there was a fire lit in the fireplace. He was still getting used to being back here.*
