*He chuckled as the stand mixer rolled on.*
"Depends on the song, senselessness and sex but might not be all that bad. Kinda fits with the whole sex, drugs and rock & roll thing."
*Jeremy started scooping cookie sized portions of dough onto a sheet pan.*
"I'm probably in completely the wrong place but I'm kinda laid back when it comes to drama. Generally taking the choice of relaxing over getting stressed/mad/jealous about stuff."

*She grinned*
"You're right, about the rock 'n roll thing. Though, I'd like just a little bit of drama. I feel kind of left out."

*Sliding the pan into the oven, Jeremy peeked over the counter top.*
"So what kind of drama are you looking for?"

"I don't...something. A guy, or I need to be rescued, or I do the rescuing...something. I can only wander around at random for so long, after all."

*He peeks in the oven.*
"No guys to rescue in there."
*Winking he stands up to dust his hands off on the apron at his waist.*
"And I can understand that... I've been doing the random thing.. only no wandering. I sit in one place and let the randomness come to me."

"Heh...I bet you get some very interesting customers in a city like this one."

"I can count my customers on both hands. I actually don't get a whole lot of business in here. Something about the location or boy cooties I guess. And honestly... the inserts are the most interesting. Everything else seems over done. I actually thought about adding a room on just for the inserts. Somewhere that they can relax, have a mountain dew, coke, etc. That kind of thing."

"That would be great...sort of like a little retreat, when you just want to duck out of the crazy that surrounds everything else. Something like that would certainly get visited by everybody...well, the inserts, anyway."

"I'll keep thinking about it. But glad to see I can count on at least on customer."
*He pulled the sheet pan from the oven and started transferring the cookies to a cooling wrack. Looking down Jeremy chuckled and removed the shark shaped silicon oven mitt.*
"Milk? All pasteurized and cold? Or maybe an after dinner drink to go with the cookies?"

*Jeremy waited till she finished eating, finding other things to do because staring at people while they eat is kinda creepy. He cleaned up some more before returning from the fridge with a nice cold glass of milk.*
"Not that I'm trying to get you all liquored up but they'd probably be good with any cream or milk based mixed drink. But plain old milk is good too."
*He set the glass down before her. But instead of passing the cookies over he held up the beater from the cookie dough.*
"Family tradition... guests or the youngest always gets the beater."

*Brandi manifests in the corner of the kitchen, arms crossed and tapping her foot. She looked very disappointed.*
"You are not going to sit there and tell me that you just used a standmixer anywhere in the process of making chocolate chip cookies."
*She smacks him hard across the face.*
"Bad bull."
All real chocolate chip cookies are stirred by hand. It improves the texture and doesn't chop up the chips. When are you going to learn, silly boy?

Subpar cookies are the product of you sleeping instead of sueing as you should be.

*She held out her hand for offered treat*
"And I might ask for some of that liquor later."

"Yeah we always had great fun with the beaters. Especially my grandmother when she was making rum balls. Thought it was pure comedy gold to feed the raw heavily alcoholic batter to the six year old. Granted... she was right."
*He placed the beater in her hand, careful to not smear the batter on her fingers.*
"I've got an idea for the drink... you like banana flavor at all?"
