*Brandi arched her brow.*
"And all humans are equal in value, of course, correct?"
*She tilted her head.*
"There are none that you would deny rights or grant certain privileges?"

*Holmes frowned.*
"Theoretically, yes. Initially, at any rate. Are you going to tell me that this thing has no lesser claim on humanity than we? It was manufactured. Surely that alone concedes the point."

*A small smile curled in the corner of Brandi's mouth.*
"Ah, yes. You're far too logical a fellow to believe in God, aren't you? Oh well. Let me just put it this way. I try to judge all things on they merits and flaws, each situation as an individual. I'll retain my thoughts on what he is until I have a clearer view of the evidence as it presents itself. Until then, I'm willing to give him the benefit of a doubt."

"Yes. Well, I am not. He--it! shot my--someone. I shall be watching it most carefully."

"I liked the name James." He suddenly said. "But perhaps, I should leave behind the name of Moriarty."
*If he had paid their discussion any heed, he showed no sign of it*

"As you should."
*Brandi smoothed the lines of her robe.*
"I'm sure there are bad androids the same as there are bad people. But there are good ones too."
*She turned to the other with a gentle smile.*
"And James sounds delightful. Just watch out for those Bond girls."

*He gave her a hesitant smile, though he looked rather confused at her last comment*
"Bond girls?"

"Oh, James?"
*Brandi looked for some understanding, but dismissed it with a wave of her hand.*
"Never mind, it suits you well."

((There is way too much Barbie-smashing in my life these days.))
*Kris bubbled in, intent on seeing if Brandi was feeling better. There were all sorts of unresolved thingies. And stuff.*
"Hey, B," *she called, self-conscious because the nickname was kind of silly.* "What's--oh. Hey!"
*The android-girl smiled brightly at Holmes and er, James but stopped dead.*
"Um. Hi."

*Brandi blushed and tucked her hair behind her ear.*
"Umm...hey. What are you doing here?"

*Moriarty--er, James--seemed very interested in Kris. Something in him, some dormant part, had hummed to life when she'd entered the room.*
"Greetings."

*Kris glanced nervously at the two men and then smiled sheepishly at Brandi.*
"Just came to check on you. But you seem to be doing fine! So..."

"Android," *Holmes muttered, recalling something he'd heard during his travels in the Orient, then noticed the new girl had reacted strongly to the word.*
"Fear not," *he said with reluctant gallantry,* "it's... decommissioned. For now. It shan't hurt you."
*The girl blinked at him.*
"Um. Okay," *she said, recalling she couldn't very well fangirl Holmes since it would require her writer to switch accounts even more furiously. She was solo god-modding as it was. Holmes noticed her nervousness as she turned to "James" and waved a little hello.*

*James tilted his head curiously at Kris*
"Are you of the same year?"

*Kris stared at him, knowing that she was giving herself away just by reacting.*
"Dude, what? You're way older than me. Seriously."
