*Holmes' jaw twitched.*
"I'll look in on her," *he said.* "You. Mechanical creature--stay here. And do as the young lady tells you."

*Brandi rolled her eyes slightly.*
Boys...
*She looked at the other not!man and shrugged. She suddenly very much wished that Kris was here.*
"So...what do you want? I mean...do you want to be fixed or for me to leave you alone?"

*He held his arm out to Brandi*
"I would appreciate the immediate physical problem be fixed, yes. Though I do not think anyone can help my internal defects."
*He furrowed his brow, looking puzzled*
"Why do I feel upset by this?"

*Brandi shrugged.*
"Maybe you were programmed to. Some androids have room to grow outside of their intial programming. Maybe you were meant to adapt to your environment and move past the intial parameters."
Like the hotness of Data.

*He shook his head*
"That doesn't sound like something Moriarty would want."
*He blinked*
"I am not he. So who am I?"

*Brandi sighed.*
"I can't tell you that. No one can. Except maybe the one that made you. But if seems that you're not Moriarty's work, then we have to consider the option that the one that did make you had other intentions for you that those he would have set for you."
*Holmes gone, she quickly manifested a neat techo-gizmo from the ST:TNG universe and healed the would in his arm in a few seconds before leaning closer to correct the one in his shoulder.*

*Holmes, reassured of nothing besides Irene's currently being alive, returned to watch Brandi and the robot broodily.*
"You have access to technology far beyond what is currently available," *he pointed out finally.* "Does this have something to do with the other temporal and metaphysical anomalies I have observed here?"

*Not Moriarty looked contemplative, holding still as Brandi took care of the 'injuries'. He was in deep thought when Holmes arrived, and for once, actually paid no attention to the detective*

*Brandi blushed and didn't look to Holmes as she spoke.*
"Something like that."
*She finished with his shoulder and put away the device.*
"Umm...that's about what I can do for you. Sorry about the rest."

*Why was she apologizing to it? It was a thing. A... he wasn't sure what to call it.*
"What do I call it?"

*Brandi shrugged.*
"No clue. I guess whatever he wants to be called."
*She looked to the android.*
"What do you say? Got a name you like in particular?"

*Holmes cross his arms.*
"Why are you asking it?" *he said with asperity.* "It's not human."

*Color rose to Brandi's face as she tried not to slam her fist into Holmes's face. It would probably end poorly. But even if she hadn't been a staunch supporter of android rights beforehand, this issue with Kris concreted things firmly.*
"Sir...I know that it might be simple for someone like you to see such distinctions, but some of us have unique perspectives on such matters."
*She stood with a cold air.*

*Not Moriarty stared blankly at the both of them.*
"Name? How does one name themselves?"

"Unique is another word for ill-considered, I think," *he said.* "It was manufactured by someone to perform a certain task. A task at which it has failed, I might add. I fail to see how such an object should be afforded the same rights and courtesies as a human soul."
