((I'm not going to surprise anybody if I say that Rosalind and Valmont and Mercutio in a thread together is making my brain scream things like, DO IT DO IT DO IT, am I?
Seriously, though. It would be unintentionally hilarious on all sides, except for Mercutio's, where he is purposely hilarious.))

((Sarrin: No, you're not, and yes, they should.))
You paint an intriguing portrait--in both cases. I have yet to meet the repression to match my charms, but I confess your reservations in the name of the second present no impediment to my interest. On the contrary, your interest alone whets the appetite. Who is this creature, whom you shield from me? Who can capture your own interest in such a way that mine is a threat?

(( Awwww, noooo, don't make Mercutio have to deal with his libido AND unexpectedly protective urges. The poor dear will be so confused. ))
My long lost daughter.

((...his being 19, this makes Rosalind an incredibly articulate and good-at-typing 6 year old. And yes. We must we must. Valmont does have to get his wig back anyway someday.))

(( Hey now. Don't be hatin' on his sudden stroke of brilliance.
Pbbbt, shows what you know. Alex rescued his wig for him while Mercutio was trying so hard to charm Andrew. ))

(( He said Valmont would be competition for the affection or something of this one, and so if it's his daughter, it's pretty unconvincing anyway. XD Ha!
That does show what I know.
Well, Rosalind's a good person for him to be with when he meets Valmont again anyway since she will prevent one thing from leading to another. And I would find Valmont and Rosalind-banter to be interesting but I wouldn't want to leave her alone with the man. And I have been wanting Rosalind and Mercutio at a party or ball of some kind for weeks. So obviously I like the idea. XD))

Your daughter.
*disbelieving sidelong glance*
Of course, my dear fellow. No doubt proof of her charm. Do forgive me for my hasty, and ill-conceived, notions. A man cannot help what he is, after all.

(( He meant competition with her other suitors! ...Look, you're saying this like I don't realize what a stupid and completely unbelievable excuse that is. Of course I do. So does Mercutio, which is why he's using it.
They can be each other's chaperones! >_> ))
Mm-hmm. Don't you see the resemblance? ...Well, you can't, you're on the other side of a computer screen, I forgot. Perhaps sometime you shall be graced with the pleasure of both our companies.

A pleasure that would be, indeed. As to the resemblance, ginger hair in no way connotes consanguinity. Else, how would we be blessed with new ones?

((After the László/Ghislain/Valmont thread, could I finangle this one? Or, maybe, we should wait until someone has a ball? Wasn't Scarlett going to have a ball or something? Because, rereading it, I want this to happen. I do.))

((I am so happy! ^_^
I have been wanting to play actual!girl!Rosalind forever (Well, have also been wanting to play actual Ganymede forever, too, but that is another thread entirely) and I also think that stuff with Rosalind and Valmont would be interesting. Everyone Rosalind's met so far has been so far from predatory as to be perhaps even protective of her. I will PM Kris.))
