*Aimery's skin felt electric at her touch. It was almost as if she remembered. He certainly did. His body ached to be with her, to lay her on the soft grass and share each other as they had before. It felt like...going home. Her in his arms again. It was perfect.*
Oh, Faye...I've missed you so much.
*His hands slipped lower, his lips hungry for her kiss.*

*Faith gave a gusty sigh as he drew her closer, her mind a giddy whirl. She jumped back a little, feeling a strange twisting in her stomach as she felt the heat radiating from his body.*

*Aimery was taken aback by her shifting and his eyes darkened.*
I'm sorry.
*He fought to free his pad and write.*
I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be
*He shrugged gently.*

I just mean I am sorry if I made you uncomfortable.

So you'd...
*Aimery's eyes lightened and he leaned back in eagerly, if a bit awkwardly, leaving his lips close, but not touching hers. He wanted it to be an offer, not an assumption. He shut his eyes in respect.*

*It was Aimery's turn to be surprised. His pad felt to the grass with a soft thud. Once he had caught up with her affections, he pulled her firmly against him, smiling against her lips as he sought to express his overwhelming joy and need of her.*
Oh...Faye...I love you.

"When do you want to get married?" *she whispered.*

**MAYBE NOT A NEW DAY, BUT AT LEAST IN A CORNER, AWAY FROM THE LOVEBIRDS**
Jamie wandered slowly around the Opera Gardens. Despite many trips to France, she had never bothered to wander the Opera in her own time, and was glad she was doing so during the more exciting time period.
Bending to examine a bush of tea roses, she buried her face in them, careful not to ruin her outfit. Who would've thought I could buy EGL gear in 19th century Paris?

***SNORT***
*Nadir had been walking along one of the paths and stopped, seeing a young woman enjoying the fine day and flowers. He did not wish to disturb her, but had already turned down the path, however, and it would seem rude to purposefully turn back, having seen her there. He tipped his hat as he came nearer.*
"Bonjour, mademoiselle," *he said politely.*

She glanced around, and raised an eyebrow in surprise at the tall, handsome man.
Arabic features, golden eyes, a lean, toned body...she tilted her head, wondering who he was.
Gorgeous, yes, but not Leonidas. Although she'd heard Alexander the Great and Ghenghis Khan were around too.
This is the most screwed up place I've ever been to, and that doesn't count the time I threw myself through a window and thought the hospital was the Gateway to the Candy Lane People.
So instead, she curtsied, thanking her re-enacting skills for the ability to do so, and smiled.
"Bonjour, monsieur," she said.
