"I always felt bad, too," he said, helping with the packing.
"But Alfred always cooked a bit more than he needed to. He said you never knew when you might need the leftovers."
With a small smile, he took Lois' hand.

"Wise man," *she said, angling her head toward all the food.*
*She paused for a moment, smiling at his smile with the basket in one hand and his hand in the other. Then, snapping herself out of it, Lois lead him out of the kitchen and followed his lead towards the garage... or rather that impossibly giant room that stored all his cars (although it was expected due to the sheer grandness of the entire estate). Not exactly the most traditional garage but one nonetheless. Not that she knew any of this...*

Standing in the garage, he paused a moment to scan the room for what would be appropriate to cruise the countryside in.
"How about the Alpha Romeo? It was made for cruising."

*She scanned the room too... just with wider eyes, trying her best not to look totally speechless.*
"Um..." *she said, spotting the car among the many others. Finally coming to her senses, she decided--*
"--As long as it's fast and loud, I don't care."
*Having said that, she headed over to the Alfa Romeo, tossed the basket in the car and resisted the urge to look under the hood.*

Bruce had a huge grin on his face as he wandered over to the key cabinet and fished out the keys to the Alpha.
"Oh, I'd definitely say fast and noisy." He said, strolling over.
"Just wait until I start the engine."

*She plopped herself down on the passenger's seat and looked up at him. Her smile was both mischievous and expectant, waiting for him to impress her.*
"Well, she isn't going to drive herself, is she?"

He slid into the driver's seat, paused to wink at her, and then started up the car. The engine roared to life, echoing off the garage walls.
"How's that?"

*She couldn't help laughing. After taking a moment to take it all in, she took his hand and placed it on the gear shift impatiently.*
"Drive," *she said, her voice louder so he could hear her over the sound of the engine.*

Not wasting any more time, he smoothly pulled out of the parking space and drove around to the garage exit, waiting a bit impatiently for the door to rattle up before taking off at a speed that was probably faster than recommended.
