"Personally, I'm done with getting in trouble" Jess lowered her voice "I just hope it stops following me."

"You're smart. Me? If it meant writing a kick-ass article, I still think I'd do something stupid."

"Well I can agree with you there, except for me, it's all about finding good sources and inspiration for the crap I call writing. I got arrested once for arranging a protest outside of my city hall back home, only to see if, one, I could do it, and two what it would be like, just in case I ever decided to write a book about hippies."
((That's actually kind of a true story, although I had a good reason for it, bloody politicians.))

((Dude, that's some intense shit.))
*Lois's eyes grew large.*
"That's... actually very impressive," *she said seriously.* "That much dedication, it can't be crap."
"Did you ever get around to writing about hippies?"

((Yea they kept me over night, one to scare me since I was 16 and two because I, and I swear to this day, accidentally hit a cop in the face with my elbow.))
"I did, it was a short story called 'Bobby and Me' about a girl who leaves home and goes to live with a hippie commune and ends up falling for this totally whacked out older guy named Bobby. I finished it, but haven't done anything with it. I've only ever shown two people the story, one was my sister and the other was Bruce."

*Lois got an idea.*
"How long? More short story or War and Peace?"

Jess thought for a moment, she hadn't even looked at it in a couple years "Uh, short story, about the size of three chapters of a novel, why?"

"Because I think the Parisian public would love to read something like that," *she stated simply.*
"Would you mind if I or Perry read some of it? I think Perry would love to publish something like that in the Planet after having loads of those overly romantic stories that have the heroine die because she can't be with her one true love."

"I-" Jess had never had anything published in her life, other than a letter she wrote to her local newspaper about how the crime was just going to get worse and the cops weren't doing anything about it, yet they were the highest paid police officers in the state of California.* "I- yes, that would be amazing!"
((That are true facts.))

((Ugh, YES.))
*Lois beamed.*
"Of course, I'd have to sell it in a very business oriented way. You know Perry: money, money, money."

"As most bosses are" she laughed "uh, you'd need a copy of the story right?"

"Oh, yeah," *she said with a short laugh.* "Almost forgot."

Jess looked at Lois papers on the table and back up to her "Would you like me to give that to you later?"

"Uh... Yeah, that would be better. I'm catching up on a some newly passes legislature that makes no sense to me what so ever," *she said with a roll of her eyes. She picked up the large packet and gestured to it emphatically.*
"Whenever it works for you, just drop it off in my room or give it to Alfred?"

"I'll drop it off in your room, I know where it is" Jess said with a smile, although for one reason or another the tone of her her voice seemed to suggest a warning.
Although I have no right she thought.
"Would you like to get back to your work?"
