*Wild smiled warmly.*
"She was absolutely adorable. And such a sweet and loving kid. I am sorry she lost her mother at such an early age. How did it happen?"

"Shot" he said softly "by a nadorhuan*, solider. He was just shooting without looking and she just happened to be going by the street that day, she hadn't heard fighting had broken out there, shot... in the head."
((*Cowardly dog))

*Wild's eyes were filled by tears of compassion.*
"That bastard. And... how did her husband and child react?"

"John was crushed, he stayed in his room for a week to mourn. Marie..." he sighed "...Marie wasn't sure what to do, she wasn't sure if she should be sad, because she said "mommy didn't like tears" and that if it had happened to her, she wouldn't want her mother to cry."
He laughed "It was little Marie that got John out of his room."

*Wild listened to the story with tears in her eyes. She knew how it felt to lose someone important.*
"Poor humans." *She whispered.* "I wish there was something I could do for them."

*Wild thought about all the lonely nights she had spent, mourning the loss of her parents. She had often wished that she could have been killed in their place.*
"It has happened." *She admitted.* "But on the other side, we have something the humans don't have. Our magic. Our ability to make a difference. To heal, where all doctors give up. To bring hope into darkness. Do you really wish to sacrifice all that?"

"I can not heal" he said softly "my magic is nothing, nothing more than a child can do."

*Wild stopped up in front of him and looked mildly into his face.*
"Amras. Today you have saved me from becoming a nervous wreck, given me hope, a reason to live, and given me back the faith in humans. How can you say that your magic is nothing? Don't you realize how gifted you are?"

He laughed "I'm sorry I seem to have acquired a bout of the melancholy" sighing he itched his ear. "Wild it wasn't my magic that did that, all I did was talk to you, my magic can do nothing but grow vegetables."

"Then you are a very special person."
*She replied warmly.*
"And there is nothing wrong with growing vegetables."

"I like carrots too. And tomatoes."
