"Yes" he nodded "there's no other explanation my dear, what else would you be doing here?"

Eli smiled, but the smile was a bit frozen, although not quite plainly so. It felt frozen to her. "Nothing, really. You are not appropriate for a child."

"I am not appropriate for anyone sweetie" his smile grew.

Eli hesitated before smiling back, teeth showing, although they did not look to be out of the ordinary then.
"Then you must have been holding back considerably during the performance. It was..." She shifted her tongue in her mouth a moment, as though choosing a word properly. "...tame."

He winced a bit at her smile, but when that dreadful fuzzy haired vampire had taken over, she ahd allowed her kind all over the place, and as much as he tried he couldn't get them out.
"You noticed, oh dear" he whined "I was hoping that it wasn't that obvious."

Eli would have liked to ask him, incidentally, about how this place became so popular for vampires. Had to know, and it was clear that he did, but if he was such a prominent performer - and she suspected he nearly ran things, from the way he had been introducing the act - and not a vampire himself, then it was strange indeed that so many of the undead frequented it. But she did not know how appropriate a question this was out in the club. Not all of the people here were vampires, not at all. And she did not know how many did know. From the way some of her kind chatted up seemingly-unsuspecting young women at the bar, she suspected that it was common for completely oblivious mortals to attend also.
Eli, whose eyes had turned away briefly to pass over the crowd, looked back at him again very suddenly to answer.
"Surely, with such clientele, you could get away with more."

"I'd rather not entice your kind back to my dressing room my dear" he laughed and leaned in on his elbows "I like mortal girls and boys, I don't want to have to keep someone from kissing too hard."
Did he care that this thing looked like she was 12? No, no he didn't.

It would be very funny and very ironic if a vampire were to kill him. It would not be in their best interest to do so, of course, because then the cabaret might close down, but it would be.
Eli only kept smiling. "You are very foolish if you think we kiss," said Eli, because he didn't.

((You have no idea how hard it is to write him without his accent haha))
"As I said" he waved his hand at a passing girl and leaned back lighting a cigarette and offering one to the child...pire.

Eli shook her head, declining politely.
"Of course, if one of us were to attempt a - kiss, as you call it - you would be powerless. Even I could take you," and her voice was very speculative but not meant to be intimidating at all.
She was not certain why she behaved like this. Usually she did not take the offensive in anything. Was it a devilish childish impulse to tease? She didn't wholly understand it and was slightly apprehensive. Nothing, of course, showed on her features.
((Oh, God, I completely forgot. xD))

((Heh))
"I had no idea" he took a long drag off the cigarette and held it in a bit longer than most would, than released it in to three smoke rings aimed straight for her. "Would you want to take me?" He asked suddenly, again, he didn't care about the implications of his actions.

The smoke rings brushed against her face as they dissipated, soon becoming nothing at all recognizable. Of course, Eli breathed, when she told her body to, silently, all the time beneath her conscious thoughts, but no inhale of smoke could harm her. In fact she remained perfectly and curiously still, the smoke really only like a very thin silk veil being pulled away so that the vision of her was clearer afterwards.
"No," she replied. "Then who would run this interesting club?"
She spoke simply, almost shortly. She did not imply any other reason and did not expect any other to be read into her words.

"Oh anyone could run it, in fact the only reason why your kind are here is because I left, and the person I left it to sold it to a vampire" he growled "some crazy red head almost put my club in to the ground."
