Darkness had fallen over the 19th century Parisian street and a cloaked figure, dressed in black emerged from thealley where he had been hiding. His knee high leather boots creaking softly with each footfall and being the only noise he made. The figure looked up, his eye caught by the oppulent Opera Garnier. the simple gesture caused his shoulder length black hair to fal away from his face and reveal the Fawksean mask he wore. ah, L'Opera, the closest place to home I'm about to find in this place quikening his pace, V climbed the front steps and slipped inside the Foyer.

*Alex, after hanging about to see if anyone else was going to fight, had sat herself despondantly on the grand escalier. Ah, l'amour, as they called it. Well, it was her own fault for being a lezzie *and* dressing as a boy--I mean, how is that for false advertising? Her reverie is broken by the sound of muffled footsteps.*
"I say... who's there?"

V turned swiftly, his cloak swirly from his shoulders as his hands went to the daggers he kept on his person at all times. Seeing the redhaired boy standing there, he relaxed. only a fellow englishman. He tipped the brim of his hat to the youth. "only passing through"

*Alex raised an eyebrow.* "Lots of that going 'round. You're not, by any chance, the infamous Phantom, are you? I hear he wears a mask and is rather alluring. Or was that Gerik?" *he mused.*

V chuckled softly, "you find me...alluring? I promise you sir, that I am not the Phantom you speak of, nor am I Gerik."

*Alex shrugged.* "Well, the knives are kind of... sexy... And the mask, contrary to common sense, only serves to imply you must be far too attractive to show yourself. Girls do so like a mystery... Uh, that is, so I've heard." *She scrambled to her feet.* "I'm Alex Abercrombie-O'Toole, at your service. Should you require any."

((wait a tick...aren't you suposed to be a LESBIAN? thats other women..not mysterious masked men jp with ya)) V smirked behind the wry smile of Guy Fawkes. "ah, I see." he tipped his hat again, "it's a pleasure, Mr. O'Toole, you may call me V" he looked around for a moment, "seeing as it seems as though I have sumbled upon your aquantance, could you perhaps tell me where I might find a hotel tonight?"

((Haha, too true. Well, sexuality is fluid, don't you know. And masked men transcend orientation. What's a Sue without a mask-fixation? Huh?))
"V?" *Alex repeated. Not much of a name, that.* "Well, I could show you a hotel, but truth be told, I don't think anyone's actually running this place. I just went and found a bunk in the dormitories--if that's not to your liking, I'm certain you could find an abandoned dressing room, or take advantage of the large expanse of cellar that appears to be both well-provisioned and clean. With running water, no less. Up to you, of course."

((true, that IS pretty much the deffinition of sue-ness))
V nodded, "well, in that case, I will take you up on that offer," he turned to go, and then stopped himself, "tell me," he said, still facing away from Alex, "you're sure this place is not run by anyone?"

((Yeah, I need to run her into Sophie... She likes Jack cuz he wears eyeliner.))
"Seems unlikely, doesn't it? But I haven't met the managers, and we haven't put on any productions, and no one seems to be doing anything." *She paused.* "Rather cushy, come to think of it. Depending on what you want."

((EVERYONE loves jack 'cause of his eyeliner...its like, who he is xD))
"ah, that is certainly unusual" V shrugged, "In that case, an empty dressing room works just fine"

"Right this way, then," said Alex, apparently unofficial chaperone of the Opera. Or maybe just really bored. "We just have to find one not being use for... uh... recreational purposes."

V only inclined his head and gestured for Alex to lead the way.
