*Gathers supplies* I think I'll give him a bit of personality- maybe make him a bit sad. I think Marvin would be a nice name...

((*head desk.* Just the other day I was thinking of creating Marvin XD)) *Alandra wanders in and looks at a strange looking woman who seems to be collecting scrap metal and building something.* "Hello, sorry if I am intruding, but what are you making?"

((You can play him if you want.))
Oh, hi! I'm creating artificial intelligence. What with all of the violence going on around here, I would feel alot safer if I had something whose actions I could actually predict.

((Neh I am not funny enough or depressed enough to play him.)) *Alandra acted like she knew what the lady was talking about and nodded friendly.* "My father is a scientist, although I never saw him make anything like this." *Alandra extended her hand and smirked.* "My name is Alandra and if you need any help, I am sure glad to help."

*Magenta, having a one-track mind, giggles at this response. Then she controls herself and starts fiddling with a few peices of machinery.*

*Alandra picks up some tools and helps Magenta.* "So, what's your name?"

I'm Magenta. No last name. *She smiles seductively and turns on the machine. There is a rumble of machinery, and suddenly a ceep male voice is heard:
Did you really have to make me? This is very depressing.

*Alandra was startled and looked at the machine in amazement.* "Oh my, you can make it talk? How ingenious!"

((From Some Fresh Air.))
***NEW DAY***
((Sorry, couldn't resist a title like that.))
*Julian stepped out of the dumbwaiter, pausing to wait on the other man. They were in the dark recesses of the cellars and it seemed quite damp.*
"This way."

Grantaire sighed a bit that darkness greeted them again, but followed, keeping quietly simply because he didn't have anything else to say other than "it's dark and wet and cold and I don't like it" but clearly, the other man didn't care.

*Julian led him carefully back to the house on the lake and into a brighter guest room.*
"A bath, some money...what else would you need before we return to the surface?"

"Nothing, I think. I didn't come with anything but my clothes. Listen, when we go to see my dad, I really did mean you'll need to stay behind--and I'm not going to rush my visit to get back to you so, you might want to bring a book or something."

*Julian nodded, making his way through the house to gather then man's clothing and a full purse, just in case.*
"It is not a problem. I understand the importance of family."
*And on many occasions, he liked to take his time with Erik.*

"Good."
He waited near the door and eyed the clothes when Julian carried them out. "Really...you can just burn those, I think they're a bit beyond washing." he seemed a little more cheerful now--perhaps the prospect of seeing the sun and taking in the fresh air and green pastures of his father's land had his spirits up.

"Very well."
*Julian deposited the clothes once more and led the man up to the surface and out into the cool air of the street.*
