She had opined on him every other time he was on screen. At first, it was just a passing comment - "oh wow, he's cute -" and then a bit of giggling after the first demonstration that he was a bit nervous and fidgety. As the story escalated, and other plots were discussed, and other characters' good looks and charms were debated, including a handsome android who gave David a run for his money, she kept coming back to him, even after he started to be apparently a lot less cute than he'd seemed at first. Loki was gracious enough to not rub her face in it when he demonstrated himself to be less moral than the actual titular aliens and he'd let out a guffaw at his death scene. The film was packed more than densely enough with other world and character details to keep them occupied for the rest of the evening, until a moment came when Teja sat on the edge of the bed, wearing fancy pyjamas and brushing her hair, and said quite unwelcomely and out of nowhere, a betraying lingering sympathy in her voice - "You should wear plaid flannel sometimes. It's a good look."

"That's more my brother's territory, darling," Loki corrected her from the other side of the bedroom, where he was in the middle of undressing.

"You have the same coloring as him. It would look good on you. They make plaids in green, you know-"

"Yes, darling, but it's still plaid flannel," he teased, coming to sit by her.

"Who do I look like, Marty McFly?" he laughed.

"A bit like Burke, Carter J-" she teased, standing up to touch him on the chest and give him a quick nose kiss.

"Maybe a year ago," he conceded, "before a certain someone taught me decency and fashion-"

"Hey, I thought you were cute when I met you," she argued, slipping her arms around his shoulders. "The uptight hairstyle and the ambiguous trustworthiness were part of why I was into you."

"That doesn't argue well for your taste, darling," said Loki.

"I'm not the one insisting I have good taste, you are. Well, I loved the old you and I loved Carter J. Burke, and if that's bad taste, so be it -"

"If you liked it so much, you certainly wasted no time in training me out of it," he laughed, pulling her back against the couch cushions with himself.

"I didn't train you out of anything," she said affrontedly. "I mean, I yelled at you for turning people into goats. And saying we were just as bad as goats. I mean, I yelled at you for that sort of thing, but I never tried to revamp you. Now you're confusing me with Adrian."

"My hair was sort of the opposite of that one's, though, wasn't it-"

"Yeah, his hair is better than yours used to be."
