Aria looked out, her gaze following the sweep of his arm. "Yes, very beautiful," she said quietly. "I think I rather like Paris at night..."

Aria found herself moving a little closer to the wall, a little overwhelmed by the strange beauty of the scenery around them. Yes it was dark, but the silvery moonlight was filtered so perfectly over the city, and the tiny golden city lights scattered here and there only added to the beauty... no, the enchantment of the sight. Caught up in the moment, she let out a little sigh of some happy emotion. "It really is beautiful," she whispered.

Louis turned and leaned against a nearby statue, watching Aria fully appriciate the nightime view. "You should see the ocean on a night like this, with the moonlight on the waves"

*Aria smiled as she continued looking out over the city.* "I'm sure it would... Moonlight can make anything beautiful."

Aria closed her eyes, trying to picture in her mind what a moonlit ocean would look like. She had never seen the ocean, so naturally she had a little difficulty. Then she had a vision of the Seine, stretching out in front of her much farther than in real life, reaching out until she could barely see the opposite shore. She imagined there was a crystal-silver streak of moonlight stretching across it, shining like a path of jewels. She smiled dreamily. "I'd love to see a moon-lit ocean," she said, barely above a whisper now.

Aria looked back at Louis in wonderment. "The ocean? But that's so far away..."

Aria felt a sudden chill of foreboding. She so wanted to trust him, but there was something she couldn't quite explain... "I- I don't know," she said hesitantly. "It sounds lovely, but I don't know..."

*Aria bit her lip for a moment. She did feel uneasy, but Louis did seem to want her trust him; oddly enough, she almost felt that she did. She took in a breath and gently closed her eyes, nervously waiting for whatever was about to happen.*

Louis smiled inwardly, it had been awhile since he had tried this, but he was sure he could pull it off. Gently he reached around and lifted Aria into his arms so that she lay cradled between them. "wrap your hands around my neck" he whispered, when he felt her comply he focused all of his will and felt himself rise into the air. After a second, he started towards the coast. He sighed, it had been too long since he had felt the wind like this. All too soon he could see the silver waves of the atlantic on the horizone. Louis found a small deserted section of beach, its white sand glittering in the moonlight and he set himself down with barely a sound. He placed Aria back on the ground, "look" he whispered, sweeping his arm out to the moonlit waters. ((..yes...Anne rice's vampires can fly. ))

((Wow, I just logged on again...))
Aria gasped in ecstasy, and perhaps a little fright. She looked out over the watery expanse and smiled. So this was the ocean... It was certainly much better than the Seine. "It's so beautiful..." she breathed.
