Dan didn't smile but it was obvious he wanted to.

Adrian frowned a little in concentration. His hair fell forward when he bowed his head to work, arching gracefully downward over his temple and forehead but short enough now that it didn't lay against them anymore. He pursed his lips lightly.

To say that Dan didn't notice Adrian would be to say that he'd gone blind. So he closed his eyes and allowed him to work.
It was nice to simply be in his company even if they were in the middle of what could be considered a crisis if, in fact, they weren't them.
He crossed his hands across his lap and kept still.

Dan didn't laugh, he was too close to his adams apple for that to be safe but he did smile "Domestic traits do not equal domesticity." Dan had spent quite a few years being exactly that, he was a expert on being a boring old man.

Standing up Dan grabbed a towel and turned the faucet on to hot, when the towel was steaming he threw it on his face and began to rub the left over lather off of his face. He looked in the mirror, lifting his chin up and around with a smile "Better than I ever get it" he turned with a laugh "but you knew that."

"Much as I would like to take credit, it's not me, it's the razor," Adrian said, shrugging.

He laughed "The tools are only worth the hand that wields them also take a compliment for god sakes" he dried his face off and rubbed lotion in with small circles across the newly soft skin of his face.

"You're the tool man, not I, Dan."
Adrian rinsed the blade and took a moment to inspect his own reflection, turning his head slightly.
