Silva rested his fingertips on her tender cheek, very lightly and with a deftness that surprised him. Her little kisses were scorching, and he did enjoy them.
"And how was that?" He spoke the words after the kiss had ended, but while their lips practically still touched, murmuring against her mouth.

"Oh! I don't want champagne, I only want you!" she exclaimed with a laugh, burying her face against his throat and kissing it, feeling the pulsing of veins and the faint, faint scratch of shaved hair and the warmth of him beneath her lips.
