"You made it for maneuverability, I read the dossier" she grinned "plus it's form fitting so it fits my hips" she tapped her hip comically and ran up to the platform as the mark 41 started moving up "Jarvis be gentle, I'm used to black cocktail dresses and skinny jeans okay?"

With a huge grin on his face, he followed after her. He'd always wanted to see someone else pilot one, but until he'd started seeing Jess he didn't know anyone he trusted enough to even let them try. Rhodey or Pepper, sure, but Rhodey seemed to have fallen off the Earth and Pepper would've flatly told him no (although in Pepper's case, he suspected that she would do it, given the right circumstances).

As the arms came up to connect the thigh plates she made a shivering noise "No wonder you do this all the time."
The chest plate centered in to place and she felt it conform to her body, she laughed as the helmet came up and on.
She'd seen Tony fly them before and like she'd said, she'd read the dossier.
Moving in the suit was easy once Jarvis booted up "This is so freaking cool."

He stayed back--it wasn't a good idea to stand close when the suit took off--watching Jess settle in before pulling out his phone and connecting with the communicator in the helmet.
"You should try high altitude. It'll blow your mind. Also, no airplanes to bother you."

Putting her hands to the side of her thighs she took off, flying high in to the air
"Wooo! This must be what Lois Lane feels like!"
She spun in circles as she ascended, making vortex's of steam in the air.

He chuckled.
"Yeah, but Lois never got to fly by herself."

"I'm not either" she laughed as she got up to the higher altitudes, stabilizing a couple thousand feet above where any plane would fly.
"Thank god you pressurized this suit or my ears would be ringing" she looked out on the landscape of the city and inhaled "it's pretty up here."

Tony recalled his early attempts to fly at high altitudes and how near-disastrous they'd been.
"Oh, I'm glad I pressurized it, too. I imagine being up that high is probably what it must feel like to be Superman when he flies around."

"Other than your voice it's silent" she laughed "he can hear everything, can you imagine that? Being able to hear everything? That'd drive me crazy."
-er
Jess looked out in to the New York Skyline, this far up it was almost just dots "So cool."

Well, it was silent when the power went out, not that he was going to say that. Kind of tactless to be bringing up that kind of situation when your fiancee was in high altitude.
"You know, for a while I've been meaning to make one for you. I kept forgetting to bring it up."

"My own robo suit?" Jess laughed and swirled a bit through the air "Make it black with ghost flames."

"How hot rod," he said, smirking.

She laughed "That's what we'll call it."
Taking another look at the city she sped back down to the balcony and hovered above the landing pad a second.
As soon as her feet touched the platform Jarvis started the process of removing the pieces.

He was already working out this new suit in his head.
"Hot Rod it is, then."
He paused a moment, considering.
"The name makes me want give it a speed focus."

She stepped off the platform and adjusted her skirt, it had of course hiked up in the process as the suits had not been created to accommodate women's fashion.
Poofing up her hair she let out a soft ooomph and grinned.
