*enters with Fievel cupped in her hand and sets him gently onto the dresser before lighting the oil lamp against the wall and beginning to tidy up*
This is my room, and you're welcome to stay here for as long as you need, ok?

"Wow, really?" *Fievel looked about in awe.* It's so...pink. "Thanks!"

((It is not pink. It's all warm and cozy and earthy looking, like colors Martha Stewart would totally approve of. I think. If she wouldn't, she needs to go back to prison.))
Of course! And tomorrow I'm gonna take you all over the place and introduce you to everybody and take you out and show you Paris! The city, I mean, not that one girl.
*finishes tidying up and pats her fluffy white pillow*
Will sleeping here be ok with you, or do you want a separate bed? *blushes* I'm sorry if that was rude of me, but I had a picture book once that had a mouse in it that slept on a pillow, so I just thought...oh...here, I'll find you something else...
*begins rummaging around again*

"Oh, no, that's fine," *said Fievel, clambering up onto the corner of the pillow and curling up contentedly, his hat under his head as a kind of miniature pillow. He smiled at Bonnie-Marie.* "Tomorrow's gonna be fun!"
((Sorry I was AWOL for so long--5 pm pre-sailing rush. Urk. Haven't stood still for two seconds since 4 pm.))

((No worries, I disappear all the time for much lamer reasons.))
*smiles down at him as she sits down on the bed and begins running a comb through her thick, dark hair*
Yes, tomorrow will be very fun.
*continues brushing in silence for a moment*
Fievel, where are you from? I just realized I never asked.

((Auuugh and there's a sailing at 6, too. It'll all happen again in half an hour or less.))
"A small village in Russia," *he said.* "I'm a country mouse. Where are you from?"

((I have to go soon anyway...this may be my last post for a bit.))
Russia, really? I don't think I've ever met someone from Russia before.
*gets in bed, setting her head next to him on the pillow gently, so she doesn't accidentally bounce him off and send him plummeting to an early death*
I'm from right here in France, actually. I lived just outside of Paris my whole life, until I came here to join the corps de ballet.

"I'd love to see Paris...I guess I will tomorrow." *Fievel yawned and soon was fast asleep on the pillow.*

*smiles and pats his head gently before closing her eyes and falling asleep as well*
((D'awww!))

*has miraculously managed to sleep the whole night through without rolling over and crushing her new roomie*
Fievel...psst, Fievel...
*is unsure of how best to wake a mouse, and nudges him a bit with her pinkie*

*Fievel stirred and woke, sitting up, stretching, yawning, and rubbing his eyes and smoothing his whiskers, blinking sleepily.* "Good morning!" *he said with a small grin at his friend.*

Good morning, sleepyhead!
*slips behind a dressing screen and comes out fully decked out in a lovely navy blue day gown, then goes to the vanity and begins tying her hair back with a matching velvet ribbon*
Are you ready to see Paris today, Fievel?

((Didn't see the reply. I am Le Sorry.))
*Fievel stood up and clapped his hat on his head.* "You bet!" *he said excitedly.* "Where do we start?"
