*leads Christian inside* This one is empty! I'm sure the managers won't mind your using it, they're never around anyway. Is it ok?

"It's perfect. Thank you, mademoiselle." Christian settled his bags on the bed in the corner of the room.

You're welcome. I'm fairly sure nobody will bother you, but there are so many weird people here that you never know what will happen. *thinks* Oh, and the one rule of this Opera is: don't go into the cellars. But that's it.

Christian was instantly curious.
"If I may ask: what's down in the cellars that makes them forbidden to enter?"

*looks at him seriously* The Opera Ghost. I mean, Opera Ghosts. They live down there. Gerik is basically harmless, but Erik is dangerous. Really, really dangerous. I heard he's a murderer, and that he has a torture chamber and such. It's best to avoid him completely although he's never on.

"Oh, wow. I best not go down there then."
A silence settled on the two and Christian did not know what to say. He wrung his hands trying to think up something, anything. Finally, he broke the quiet saying, "Uh... good night then, mademoiselle."

Christian sighed as the door closed and slumped down on the bed. For the first time, he took a careful inspection of his new room. The walls were white, paint peeling off of some parts. It had a fairly medium-sized window with dull blue curtains. Next to the bed he was sitting on was a nightstand upon which was a small black book.
"How very curious," he thought aloud. He leaned over and took it in his hands. It was a book of verses. Christian smiled; he could use it for inspiration.

Christian woke up in a daze. When had he fallen asleep? He still held the small black book of verses in his right hand.
"I wonder what time it is..." he said as climbed out of his bed. Christian walked around and parted open the curtains. The light of day blinded him momentarily. "About noon, I see." As his eyes adjusted to the brightness, his stomach complained of hunger.
"I'll ask Mademoiselle Belladonna if she knows where I fetch something to eat. Maybe a spot of breakfast."

Sydney burst into the room thinking it was hers.
"Oh! What the--I'm so sorry," She said when she saw a puzzled looking man in the room.

Christian suddenly startled, fell backwards onto his bed. He quickly stood up.
"It's okay. Um... might you know where I could get something to eat?"

Sydney stared at the man and supressed a laugh, "Er...Yea," Syd thought for a moment. "The kitchens are that way. Do you want me to show you were it is?" She offerend kindly.

Christian grinned crookedly and answered, "Yes, please, mademoiselle."
