In the split-second it took to bring Teja and himself to Antarctica, Loki had added on a fur-lined mantle over his clothing and a variant of his horned helm for warmth. He held Teja close under the mantle.
"Sorry," he said, rather simply. "Bit of a bind. Can't stand traveling alone anymore."
It was deep Antarctic summer now, however, bright and still and nearly thirty degrees Fahrenheit. They stood on the entral avenue to the complex, flanked on either side by a row of obelisks.

Teja gasped, shoved back, and tripped and fell on her ass in the snow.
