Actually, yes, it wouldn't be that hard to finagle.
It's totally armor of some kind. Here wear this so you don't get squished! (or something xD)

That's about how it happened irl too; it was literally lent to me so I didn't get cold.

Okay, so Tom Hiddleston ended up being frighteningly right and Loki is way more susceptible to hugs and "true affection" than I'd originally surmised. As a result, the plot's getting kind of shaken up; I think he's just taken a level in Tragic!Villainy by the fact that he's dropping out of the mayorial race and will end up donning the horns again in response to Luthor's presidency.
So world domination and major villainy are still in the cards, just now with a bonus layer of addiction metaphor or something, idk.

Okay, I just had an idea for Batman, based off of something canonical to the comics.
In the comics, there's a moment when fighting Bane that he's defeated, but it's not just getting beaten up--Bane literally breaks his back and Bruce has to go through shittons of physical therapy and stuff to get back to normal, so he's gone from the superhero scene for a long time.
So, what if one of our megaplot's villains does it?
Oh shit, while I was writing that I had a horrible thought: what if Popplus was the one that did it?
>_O
Also, unrelated, but Tony's going to develop Palladium poisoning like in IM2.

Oh god. Oh fucking god.
That would DESTROY SUE!JESS. IT WOULD COMPLETELY DESTROY HER.
This whole thing is going to turn her in to a big fat pile of goo.
Dopple coming back, Tony dying, fuckin eh.
... but I'm not against it XD

Well obviously, Tony's not actually going to die (and neither is Bruce), but then I hit on something awesome: give Bruce an arc that mirrors sueJess'.
It'll seem like Bruce wasn't just broken, but dead. He'll let everyone think he is, and lie low for a long while until he's healed up enough to start doing Batman things again. He'll be a changed man, like you have no idea.
I'm not sure how things will end for Popplus, but regardless, the resentment and downright utter dislike Bruce has always had is finally going to be returned--right now, Tony just finds him a bit irritating. After all this? Oh, no. 'Irritated' will be a goddamn understatement of the century. Let's just say that they should never be in each other's presence again.
Side note: Unlike in IM2, Pepper is going to remain CEO, and remain just buddies with Mr. Stark although she's going to have an unrequited crush on him. Vanko isn't going to appear in the megaplot, he's just being set up for later stuff.

Well, if you need somewhere to put him...
I'm pretty sure Gomez will hold shares in both Wayne and Stark Enterprises (because owning stuff -and often forgetting he owns it- is part of what he does) and would be more than happy to open up his home to someone called "Batman". XD
And nobody can claim that a stay at the Addams household isn't a life changing experience.

Guys I've been watching Twin Peaks and Adrien Baillon you could not be more of an Audrey Horne.
There is a moment when, after deciding to help Agent Cooper with his investigation without asking him (though leaving him a note about where she's gone, which he does not read in time as he is shot unbeknownst to her), Audrey Horne is held essentially prisoner at One Eyed Jack's, a club she has infiltrated to get information she can give Cooper. That night, lying in her bedroom in captivity, she prays to him ("Special Agent? Special Agent?") to come help her, apologizing for being silly but promising she has good intentions, and begs if he can in any way hear her to please save her, hugging her pillow in tears.
OKAY SO I NEED TO REFERENCE THIS ON THE VERSE THIRTY-FIVE MINUTES AGO.
Can we please have Adrien attempting to help someone - preferably Steve? - with some kind of Taskforce issue and have the same thing happen? Because... yeah. Omg not only would it be the best homage ever, IT WOULD BE SO FRIGGIN CUTE.

PS, Jess, Sarah:
...Loki could be the Bat-breaker, if you wanted. Popplus is kind of absorbing a lot of Loki's own bits from the Avengers movie; since that's already a lot we could sort of trade if necessary.

Hey Sarah, this is totally and completely random, but I've been on a slowburn Batman kick and since I know he's going to be involved in this plot, do you need anything for him to do? Anybody to befriend or just casually interact with as Bruce or as Batman? I kind of want to play off him, though I'm intimidated to ask since he's been around forever and I don't even know much about his plot other than the Jess thing.
If nothing else, I'm going to have a couple of people on the Taskforce, though neither of them really seem like the sort of people he'd talk to much (Miranda, who was just enlisted, a firmly 19th century superhero who is mostly known for being involved in Victorian ad campaigns for soap and women's clothing, and who founded a rape crisis center, and Nina, who won't join for a while, Adrian Veidt's illegitimate daughter who is kind of her own genius though mostly focused on tracking her twin brother down and killing him).
Blergh. Omg I suck at this sort of thing, why do I try to be in plots.

I'd rather it still be Popplus. Bruce has no real connections to Loki, while he has a lot of emotional investment in Jess still (yes, even though they haven't been together in a long time). It'll be a big dramabomb that way. As for plotting with Bruce, I really don't know how anymore unless it's superhero-related. He's become a major recluse on here thanks to one person he loved being kidnapped and him unable to find her, and the whole thing with Jess on top of Jess asking him to kill her if she goes Popplus again. I think once the whole backbreaking thing happens he'll realize how he's been behaving and snap out of it, so he's definitely plottable then. (also this just stems from me not knowing what to do with him anymore. I think I wrote myself into a corner with Bats, at least personality-wise) Oh, uh, when's Tony being recruited? He's not really busy or anything and can do it right now.
