"My room isn't much..." Susanna said shyly. "But, please, make yourself at home." She said kindly with a bright smile.

"Oh, I've been in much worse," *laughed Tessa with a shrug, making herself comfortable by taking a seat on the bed and pulling off her shawl and holding it crumpled in her lap.* "Ever crossed the Atlantic? When you've got a few dozen people crammed into the hold of a ship, class and wealth make no distinctions. Same goes for stage-coach travel. I prefer riding horseback."

Susanna gave a small laugh as she searched for that book. "No, I haven't...and I don't think I want to, now. And for coah travel...I've done it once and have gotten sick to my stomach." Susanna giggled. "I was seven and we were traveling on some dirt road. It was just horrible. I too prefer a horse."
She went through one of her traveling bags. "Ah! There it is!" She went over to Tessa who was stitting on the bed. "This is a history of this place. Rather interesting. You may borrow it for as long as you wish." Susanna smiled sweetly.

"Oh, thank you!" *Tessa flipped through it with fascination.* "My! This is all so interesting..." *She smiled at Susanna.* "Will you tell me what YOU know of this place?"

"This place was built by the great Maison Monsieur Ganier...and...well, fire. The Phantom of the Opera, Dame Christine and Raoul Vicomte de Chagny...That's about it. And, please, stay away from the Vicomte. A bit of friendly adivice." Susanna's tone became graver.

"You make it sound like he's a dangerous man, this Vicomte," *chuckled Tessa.*

"He's...um...violated women before...You honestly don't want to get involved with him Tessa."

"Violated them, did he?" *Tessa tried to look shocked while her mind puzzled over the matter for a moment.* Gee this guy sounds like Grisham...perhaps the Queen should teach him a lesson in respect...

((Cool beans. And I just remembered she had to keep her ID a secret and come across as all girly and snotty. So--sorry if she gets a little snobby really fast.))

((Pretending the room is empty.))
*Casanova strode in and laid Susanna on the bed. He laid a hand on her face.* "Good God, you're burning with fever. The room is too bright." *He ran to the window and drew the curtains, shrouding them in dimness and streaming cracks of daylight.* "She must be undressed. Miss Belladonna, your assistance." *He began unbuttoning Susanna's bodice.*

Susanna slapped his hand. "What do you think you're doing?" She cried.
Susanna got up from the bed and rebuttoned her bodice...then she suddently felt sorry. "I'm sorry monsieur." She sighed, "I...I fine. Thank you very much for your concern but I'm not ill at all."

*Casanova looked at her calmly, with one eyebrow raised as though he thought her a little out of her wits.* "Are you certain, milady? Truely you seem very ill--I took some medical courses one summer when I was very bored. Never fear--I've not yet caused harm to anybody." *He walked over to Belladonna and took her hand and kissed it before holding it towards Susanna.* "Besides--you can hardly suspect me of dishonourable intentions when Miss Belladonna is here to act as chaperone and nursemaid. Come now, be so kind as to allow me to do a short medical examination, if not to ease your own mind, to ease mine--I would not be able to live with myself if I knew I had let you make yourself gravely ill." ((Gotta go to bed. Urk. Working at 6.30 tomorrow morning.))

"Hold on...what part of me seems ill?" Susanna inquired..."Oh, nevermind." Taking a deep breath, she took a good at the man. He was very handsome with dark blonde hair and entrancing eyes.
Susanna smiled and rememberd his name and the slight Italian accent he had. "Molto piacevole per incontrarla. Mi chiami Susanna." She said fulently with a good accent. "Ringraziarla molto per il suo interesse." Susanna smiled shyly as she thanked him, "Spero che non ero troppo scortese." She looked at her hands as she apologized for her rudness.

"Do not worry yourself, Miss." *He took her hand in his free hand and kissed it as well, holding both ladies' hands and smiling congenially at all.*
((Aren't y'all supposed to fall over with lust?))
