What she meant to say was Not insulting Russia to my face really is the best option, as I love my home country more than anything.
But as she was a slight be flustered, and still smiling, it was a little hard for her to fully form that in to a comprehensible sentence.

He turned to go, taking the roundabout way and stopping by her table. He lifted her chin and kissed her cheek with a grin, then bounded off.
