No.
"Yes. Look Mr. Veidt my job as an actor is to utterly become the other person, for me, the only way to do that is to actually be that person. I understand that it may come off as terribly irritating, especially to the person I'm playing, but you have to accept that to truly be you, I have to be you."
((I figure as Kirk is playing Adrian it gives him a little room to realize what he is, being that he has to pretend to be smart. The fact that he's even able to consciously think this AS Adrian is a miracle in it of itself.))

Adrian had very little patience for artists. He laughed grimly.
"You really want to be me, Mr. Lazarus? I called to tell you exactly what that entails."

Kirk rolled his eyes and sunk back down in to the bath, lighting a cigarette "Do tell."

Without skipping a beat, Kirk calmly responded with "I'm lighting a candle, I'm afraid this apartment smells something terrible, they've yet to fix the sewer pipes in the complex I'm afraid."

"I don't smoke," Adrian said pointedly, growing weary of the whole business.

"And I haven't had a cigarette since taking this role" he continued to lie "sir, if you have any other business with me please be forthright with it, I've got a few affairs that need be taken care of."

Adrian shut his eyes.
"It's going to be public knowledge soon," he muttered. "I don't like the idea of this being a skeleton in my closet when everyone starts prying and trying to cash in."
He paused.
"...I apologize for all the time wasted doing research at Ellis Island."

Three months of it.
"Then it will become part of the script, do a write up of what information you'd like portrayed in the film, and what information you'd rather left out. Fax it or e-mail it to Mr. Grossman and he'll make sure to have the script changed in accordance."

"I can assure you she'll be portrayed as you wish her to be, but that isn't for me to decide. Only influence, Mr. Grossman and Mr. Wood are the final say on these things."

"I-"
He paused.
"Perhaps it will be most respectful to... not ignore my father's participation in genocide, but instead-"
There was another pause before he blurted,
"He destroyed her. By the time she died, her mind was going, her face was ruined- she wouldn't want to be seen like that. I don't care how much the studio wants to include this to make me look like I 'triumphed over adversity' or whatever buzzwords they like to use in Los Angeles, you are not putting my mother's degradation at my father's hands in your damned film. You can tell that to Mr. Grossman."

"What your father did to your mother is reprehensible as was his part in the killing of millions of jews, gypsies, homosexuals and mentally handicapped people in world war two. I can see your reasoning and assure you that I will not allow those scenes to ever make it to set, but I can not do that without you understanding that you must get your full list of stipulations to Mr. Grossman. The fact that you're only now deciding that this is important is going to upset a few people, mostly the screenwriters, but it has to be done."
He took a deep breath, forgetting about his now dwindling cigarette "Why you've called to tell me first is a complete mystery to me, but it adds to the character that is you. Now is there anything else? Any other deep dark secrets you need to divulge?"

"Frankly, I don't care who I upset at this point," Adrian said bluntly.

"I didn't figure that you would, as any repercussions will most like come down on me" his rubbed his eyes.
