*Marijke wandered around backstage and felt very lonely. She hadn't met any cool people, 'cept for her own characters and a couple of brief moments with some others. Oh and she met Simon, which was cool, but she really shouldn't talk about that since that scene was still kinda playing. Or something like that. So Marijke made her way up to the rafters and sat down when the uncontrollable urge to sing hit her in the face like a 2x4.*
I come home in the morning light, My mother says "When you gonna live your life right?" Oh,mother, dear, We're not the fortunate ones, And girls, They wanna have fu-un. Oh,girls, Just wanna have fun.
The phone rings in the middle of the night, My father yells "What you gonna do with your life?" Oh,daddy, dear, You know you're still number one, But girls, They wanna have fu-un, Oh,girls, just wanna have That's all they really want..... Some fun....
*It sounded surprisingly good, probably because Marijke was part Sue.*

((Oh! I meant to tell you the other day when I read this, that song had been stuck in my head all day. It was weird.))
*Beatrice must have taken a wrong turn at Albuquerque in the halls for she opened a door to find herself backstage. That was most peculiar. This building was just so large! She was about to turn to go, basket of laundry still hoisted on her hip, when she heard someone singing. At least, she was forced to assume that it was meant to be singing. While not unpleasant, it was like no song she had ever heard. She lifted her voice, calling out.*
"Anon! Wherefore do you raise your voice so? There would appear to be none here to mark you."
*She glanced to the empty auditorium.*

((I IZ IN YOUR HEAD, SINGING SONGS FROM TEH 80'S))
*Marijke was a bit startled by the woman who spoke to her and she looked down, spotting the woman standing backstage while she was holding some kind of basket.*
"Which is way I started singing, I guess. It's a Sue thing. Plus I wouldn't want people to actually hear me sing, I'd be giving them permanent hearing damage if I did."
*Marijke replied as a real modest Sue. How would she know that her singing skills had improved in the 'verse from pain inducing to quite pleasant sounding.*

*Beatrice's brow furrowed for a moment. The girl's way of speaking made little sense. But she smiled up anyways.*
"Fear not. I would seem to have managed the course unscathed. Whither to that thou doth sing from the rafters? Is not the empty stage well enough?"

*Marijke had to wrap her mind around what the hell the woman was saying.*
"Well, yeah, but I don't belong on a stage. People might see me there."
*Marijke got up and started to climb down.*
"And I like heights, they make me feel all big and powerful."

*Beatrice could understand that feeling. She felt it when she out-worded a man. She smiled sweetly at the woman.*
"The need for such comforts is not beyond me."
*She shifted her basket.*
"Do you hunger? Perhaps we might dine, for I am famished and you seem to be not without the urge for companionship."
After all, you are singing alone in the dark.

*Marijke jumped down from the ladder and brushed some strands of dark auburn (which totally was just plain brown a couple of minutes ago) hair behind her ear.*
"Sure I ... ehm .. urge companionship. And dinner sounds great."
*Marijke beamed.*
"Do you need help with that basket?"

*Beatrice looked surprised by the question, but smiled and shook her head.*
"I am well enough. Whither to would you have us?"
*Her brow lifted inquisitively.*

"Mmm."
*Marijke pressed a finger against her lip and tried to remember any restaurant in the 'verse. Sure they had more then enough bars to please all of the alcoholics in the world, but not that much places to eat something.*
"Well, we could steal some stuff from the kitchens here at the Opera, or else go to this one restaurant where I am fairly certain we won't be surrounded by bad folk."

"Whichever is your fancy."
*Beatrice smiled and looked to her basket.*
"Just that I might relieve myself of this burden first."

*Marijke's smile widened.*
"We'll go to the restaurant, it would be much more fun then munching on Animal Crackers. And we'll stop by whatever place you need to dump those before we'll go."

*Beatrice wasn't sure what half of that meant, but she nodded.*
"Make the path, and I shall follow it."
((Plop them wherever you'd like.))

"Cool. Just follow me then."
((I thought we could go and eat at the Grasshopper and the Scorpion. I'll make a thread.))

***A NEW DAY***
Ethan wandered aimlessly, exploring this opera house that he now called home. It wasn't as difficult as most would imagine it to be, considering that he had never settled down permanently in one area.
He leaned heavily against one of the wooden rafters and pulled out a deck of cards, passing them from hand to hand.

*Georgiana wandered idly backstage she had hoping to see Kurt but, well she had not seen him for months. Turning she noticed a fairly attractive man and smiled at him.*
"Are you a gambling man sir or are you neglecting your other duties?"
