To the Venerable Herr Mozart and Herr Beethoven:
We, Richard Firmin and Gilles Andre of the Opera Populaire, do invite you to stop by the office so that we may commence with negotions that will lead to the performance of your stupendous opera upon our stage. We feel that your magnificent work of art is just what the Populaire needs to revive itself.
We await you, come at your earliest convenience,
Firmin & Andre, The Managers

Mozart rolled out to the door and found a letter underneath it.
He sniffed loudly as he read it before screaming out "LUDWIG!!! The managers want to talk to us at the opera house!"

From elsewhere came the crash of piano chords, followed by Beethoven.
"They do? Well, it's about bloody time!"

Wolfgang giggled and leaned against the door "I honestly thought those old fuddy duddys were dead."

"Everyone thought so, really. Glad to see the opera hasn't completely died, though."

"No kidding or we'd never pay the rent" he stood up straight and stretched his back, turning slightly in to a mirror and groaning "I look like an old hag, why didn't you tell me I look like an old hag."

He rolled his eyes.
"Because you're always hiding away somewhere...much like myself."
Ludwig was fairly certain he looked just as much like a bum as Wolfgang did at the moment.

"I wasn't hiding! I was in the lounge, at the pool table, like always!" He flipped his hand at Ludwig "Anyway, we should get cleaned up."

He half-smirked.
"Yes, we should. Hmm. And clean this place up...later."

"Most definitely later."

"Right!" He scrambled back into his room, and there was a commotion as Ludwig dug around for a respectable set of clothes.

Wolfgang, who for one reason or another began to leave his clothes inside the den, undressed quickly, stared at himself in the mirror and stuck his tongue out "Disgusting old man body" he poked at his belly, before sighing and getting dressed.
"LUDWIG? Have you seen my best wig? You know the one with the tight curls?"

Beethoven paused in the midst of running around the room. He stared down at what he'd just stepped on.
"Er...yes...I have..."

At that same moment Wolfgang walked in and looked down at Ludwig's foot, horrified "NOOO!!"

"It was an accident!" He pratically shouted.
"And look, it should be...all..." He'd picked it up, revealing just how smashed it was. "...right."
