*Malefica turned and calmly looked at the girl. She smiled.*
"It might be a problem during the show. It would look strange, you know. I'd suggest you try the wings instead, where the audience can't see you."

*Malefica smiled and nodded. Then she concentrated about her singing again, wanting to get familiar with being onstage. Once again her beautiful soprano voice filled the room.*

*Malefica lifted her head and looked at the Grammar Fairy. Being a witch, she had no problems seeing what was invisible to others. She nodded with approval.*
"You will be needed here," *She said calmly.*

**NEW DAY**
*Nobody had seen the new arrival from Vienna, but then again, he'd made it a point to avoid crowds entirely and simply cut to the chase--that is, to see what sorts of culture, or lack thereof, Paris had.
The opera house facade made him want to laugh out loud, the interior made him roll his eyes. He'd entered the auditorium out of sheer morbid curiosity--surprised at how, at least in comparison to the rest of the place, subdued it was--and slowly made his way to the stage.
The orchestra pit, at least, was up to snuff, and the stage as well. The piano--
He was surprised to see it was, in fact, a very rare edition of miniature grand, made from a wood no longer found (as it had been extensively used to the point of making it vanish from the face of the earth). He half-expected it to be woefully out of tune, but instead, the notes sang beautifully on the air when he experimentally played a simple song.
What temptation. But why not?
So it was that Ludwig van Beethoven sat down at the piano on the stage of the Populaire, and began to play an elobrate series of notes that seemed to fill the air with a thrumming vibration of power and passion.*

((You know damn well I had to do it))
Wolfgang stared and stared, then stared some more, the noise that was coming out of the piano across from him and from the fingers of the man playing it, filled him with more passion and more fuel than he had ever felt.
Then he began to clap and laugh.
"Bravo! Braavo!"

((Was that my cue? Yes, I think it was.))
Organizing the many misplaced costumes and props in the rooms just beyond the stage door, Vienna heard the piano being played expertly on the other side of the wall. She smiled to herself as she picked up a large box of props to take to the room across the hall; it was clearly Wolfie playing. There couldn't be two such talented pianists in this dreadful place.
It was exactly this fact that confused her so when she heard Wolfgang's voice moments later, sounding as if he were vocally praising himself. This was odd, even for him. She set the box of props down in the other room as she'd planned, but meandered through the halls to the stage instead of the room she'd just come from.
As soon as she emerged from the doorway she saw Mozart, and this only added to her confusion until she followed his gaze and noticed the second man sitting at the piano. "Oh. Hello."

((You guys are awesome...and this technically isn't anachronistic as Wolfie and Ludwig were alive at the same time ;D ))
*He jerked at the sound of applause, having gotten so focused on the music that he'd blocked everything else out. Turning in his seat, he found he had an audience of two. He gave the man applauding a little bow*
"I appreciate your enthusiasm."
*His eyes settled on the woman for a moment. Though he got a sense that he knew the man from somewhere, the woman was entirely a stranger to him*
"Greetings."

((And might have met each other.)) Vienna nodded politely to the man at the piano and turned to Mozart. "A friend of yours, Wolfgang?" Without waiting for a response, she walked over to stand next to the piano. "You play exquisitely," she informed the stranger. She had no idea who he was, but anyone who could play like that was worth knowing, as far as she was concerned.

*He'd been mostly focusing on Vienna, though at the mention of the other man's name, he turned back to him*
"Wolfgang?" It couldn't be...could it?

Her face broke into a wide, genuine smile. She had heard of him, of course. In fact, she'd heard him compared to Wolfgang more than once, by people who knew what they were talking about.
"Oh, Herr Beethoven! I have heard of you many times in my work."

Wolfgang's eyes widened "Herr Beethoven?!" He pushed Vienna a little to the side and took Beethoven's hand "Monsieur it is a great honor, if I'd known it was you I-I don't know what I would have done, but it would have been better that what I did!"
