"What does the winner get?"

"Glory and honor," he suggested, shrugging.

Sebastian just sort of looked at him cautiously and shrewdly until enough time had passed to make it an awkward pause. "...did you make another joke?"

"Um, no, I just couldn't think of a prize."

"A kiss from Aloysius? No, he'd never give one, he's sulky."

He did not see how a teddy bear could be sulky, but went with it.
"Loser has to provide food for the first picnic?"

"No, I like to choose the food my guest eats. That's why hosting is so charming." He was frowning now, lips parted, as he tried to figure something out. His hair, which was rather heavy to begin with, was plastered to his forehead in a clump.

"We can decide later?"

He closed his mouth again and nodded, continuing to wade to the end of the pool.
"Ready?"

"Count of three. Three... two... one..."
He pushed off the wall, gliding for a bit before he began swimming underwater, rather like a frog.

Sebastian was a very good swimmer - he was long-limbed enough to be graceful and had never been lanky a day in his life - but his breath had never been as good as he'd thought to begin with, and though he held out valiantly, and petulantly, he was not going to win.
He tried to stay underwater without any air nonetheless.

Despite his overlong limbs, Andrew seemed to have both swimming ability and lung capacity, and easily overtook Sebastian and came up across the pool, breathing deeply but not gasping.

Sebastian actually stayed under a bit longer, but when he came up he was coughing, his nose and lungs stinging badly and hair in his eyes.

Andrew frowned.
"Are you alright?" He moved in that direction, on the off-chance that Sebastian should not be alright.

He shook his head and continued coughing, making his way to the end of the pool and then leaning his arms against the tiles and coughing into them.
