"So," she said, her tone almost too casual.
"Know anything about werewolves?"

He stopped mid bite and looked at her, and in all seriousness "I know a guy, he hang's 'round town, stays at an inn 'round here. He's totally normal, well... he's normal as a neurotic possible beast man, can be. He say's his name is Wolf, I talked to him a few times, once during the day of a full moon, he looked... very, very stressed."

((Remember I have Violetta now!))
"Really? What happened? Did you see? Anything at all."
She was definitely interested, now--while she'd fought a variety of things, werewolves had slowly become her area of expertise.
After all, it wasn't just vampires that got out of control and needed slaying.

((Yes! This is right!))
"I thought I saw his eyes go a little weird, I mean, he suddenly screamed at me when I asked him if he was feelin all right. Then he kinda growled and his eyes went all, odd, I knew there was somethin wrong with that boy. Cause normally, I mean, he's nice, like I said, odd, but nice, always with something fun to say, he loves to eat that's for sure. But ain't nothin normal about what was happinin that day."

"It sounds about rigtht," she said after thinking over it for a moment.
"But however nice they might seem, you should still be wary. The beast within has a tendency to take control and wreak all sorts of havoc."

She briefly thought of the werewolf she'd had a showdown with a few nights ago.
"I'd like to think that at least some of them are cautious, considering that there are hunters about."

"So that's what you do" he smiled "I wasn't quite sure what you were all about, that's cool."

She blinked a moment, then her expression turned serious.
"I wouldn't broadcast that." She warned.
"They don't like that my sort exist, you know...and they have produced assassins of their own."

"It ain't like I got anybody to tell, just muh girl" and Christian "and it ain't like she'd believe me about any of this."

"Ah. She's one of the ones not in the know. It's almost surprising, how many don't realize that this other side exists. A lot of it is so blatant that I don't understand how they haven't noticed."
((We so need some new plot with him and Christian.))

((Serious sauce))
"I mean she believes me about the dead thing" he replied in a low voice "but I don't think she really gets most of the other stuff."

Michelle shrugged, near to finishing off the sandwich. She'd always tended to eat fast, as you never knew when urgent business might appear.
"Some people will only believe something if it hit them on the head like a baseball bat."

"Ain't that the truth" he laughed, finishing his glass of wine "Well I think it might time to get back to work, you're welcome to look about the opera house, weird shit goes down here all the time. Of course iffin you got something to do, I can show you how the hell to get out of here. Most people just get lost when they try."

There was a twinkle in Michelle's eye that was there only briefly.
"I will see what else there is to see in here. I'll be fine--I have an excellent sense of direction."
