While Lucy had been living rather well, and had moved on up from her roots at the street level, she still kept tabs on the friends she'd made among the girls in Paris. She'd always felt a bit protective, like a big sister, and sometimes would visit them and push money on them if she though they needed it. She was a bit of a ray of hope--because here was an example of someone who had gotten out, and up.
It was through these connections that she heard about László. She didn't know him personally, but she'd seen him before and heard some talk about him. She'd never actually seen a rentboy before, although she'd heard of them. Still, even though he wasn't a friend of hers, when she heard that he'd been arrested, she went right into action: finding out if he knew anyone she could contact, and learning about the shelter.
Lucy knocked on the door, not knowing what the rules for such a place were. She'd always had a roof over head and hadn't really needed somewhere like this.

John came to the door wiping his hands, he had just been finished fixing up the boiler for the third time. Opening the door he smiled "Evening, how can I help you?"

"'ey." She said. "Is this the place where László has been staying?"
She still had her Cockney accent, though she had long ago stop feeling a bit defensive about it. Really, if others didn't like her English, they could go jump in a lake.

She nodded a bit solemnly. It was never fun, getting caught.
"Looks like th' cops finally caught 'im at 'is work. Last I 'eard, 'e was in th' slammer."

John held his breath for a moment and slowly released it before reaching over for his coat "Do you know the way Miss...?"

"Er...not really, no." She said with a blink.
Really, someone like her tended to make sure to avoid the police as much as they could. Even if she was free of it, she'd still be thought of as having a criminal background.

"S'all right" he replied sounding decidedly more British then he had before, it always seemed to happen when he met up with other British people "I know the general way, I imagine if I get lost, I'll just get fed to the vampires or werewolves or whatever just happens to be prowling the streets tonight."
He called up to Marie to tell her that he was going out for a bit, but before she could respond he closed the door.
"Anyways thank you for telling me, I didn't catch your name.."

Lucy gave a little snort at the vampire comment.
"I know 'bout that, all right."
When asked her name, she gave a little bow.
"Lucy 'arris, love."

"Lucy" he reached over and kissed her softly on the cheek "thank you Ms. Harris, hopefully we'll see more of each other, although this is our first meeting. Good night then."

She flashed him a huge grin at the kiss. "'ey love, I wouldn't mind if you wouldn't." She said, turning with a little wave. "Good on ya and goodnight! "
