Sweetness.
The gangs almost all here.
Cept for Rachel, cause she's all got's the schools and stuff.
I don't really want to pull too much from Crisis on Two Earths. This is the verse, we like to do things our way, so a nice nod in the way of the alternate universes is enough for me. Good Luthor isn't really necessary as I find him incompetent and more like a well intentioned Luthor than an alternate one.
But that's just my opinion.
Anyway, I agree with the dumb intern part makes sense to me.

And as for Veidt, Superman can't kill me, what makes you think he can?

I do have that sense of honor. But I'm confident your own plans will be your undoing someday.

Oh Superman I know you'd kill me if given the chance that no one would ever find out it was you. The guilt would weigh on you I'm sure, but if I know you like I think I do, you'd get over it.
Also: HI KAREN!

I'd...rather avoid any kind of Crisis-type stuff. The 'verse gets enough multi-dimensional stuff as it is and that could lead to a confusing mess and a plot that's too complicated.
I don't want it to be too Batman-focused on the hero side--he's had plenty of screen time, and I've been itching to get more plot for Mr. Stark than Mr. Wayne (Tony's yet to actually show up as Iron Man!).
As I've said before, Stark and Wayne are movie-verse, so a lot of the comic book stuff doesn't really exist for them, barring whatever they've run into on here. Anyway, I want to involve Stark more than the current Marvel/DC plot has him in it (I'm...kinda getting tired of playing Bats. Please don't shoot me. <_<)
I would like to involve the X-folk, they've not really had a chance to shine, at least not in a plot like this. So I definitely want to do the thing where Stark and Xavier have a chat. Lots of villains, more heroes showing up. I also realize I'm not really commenting on the plot...sorry about that. I'm kinda brain-fried right now.
But, how about something that doesn't involve kidnapping again? We had stuff like that happen before, I don't want to repeat it too much (I do like the idea of Charenton having a crazy break-out, though. Chaooooos, in the streets...)
Y'know, I'll come back later when I'm more coherent, these are just my initial thoughts.

I know what you're saying, and to tell you the truth, I threw the kidnapping thing in there because at the time I really couldn't figure out anything else. It's a DC staple to have the women kidnapped, thus where my mind was. It would also give good reason for things to start, and allow everyone to have a hand in it.
Just having Ivy being taken to the asylum, then the bad guys taking over is TOO much like the video game I was talking about. Joker allows himself to be taken in and then takes over. I want to nod to these things, not steal from them.
See with these kinds of plots, it's difficult for me to find room for super heroes with powers. See Iron man would just blow the shit up to get things in order and it's not like he can hide in the shadows or anything. Not that I don't love him dearly of course.
When it comes to Tony, it's difficult, because he has no enemies. Not here yet, thus my reasons for having the crisis nod with the portals. It wouldn't get too complicated if we take the right steps. But I see what you're saying, I'm not much for it, but again it would give something for everyone to do.
With Superman and Iron man all ready for action, they can't all go for Lex, seeing as he's the only one here with the money and the nuttiness to really fuck a bitch up, you know what I'm saying? We can't have Superman and Iron man fighting nothing but DC villains either, especially since they're all Batman villains. I don't know we'll figure things out.
From what I can tell, the only way to get Batman out of the loop by the end is for him to disappear.
At least that's how I'm seeing it, maybe Sarah you could have Senor Sorrow go off to the jungle somewhere to do some reflection, and when you're really ready to play him again, bring him back or not. But he's your character, these are just suggestions, so that you can get Iron Man more screen time.
I don't know, I really don't.
Truth be told, other than the suggestions here, there really isn't any plot to get involved with.

Ugh, sorry about that half-assed post. In retrospect, I should've waited until later when I was actually thinking and not half-zombie. Ah, didn't know that about Ivy and the Joker--I haven't played the video game, so I have no idea what's coming from there. I understand, about Iron Man, but unless someone makes a villain from his rogue's gallery, I have to find a way for him to have his own plottiness. Randomness inspired by Iron Man vs. Lex Luthor: I remember, from the animated TV series, that at one point Luthor had a sort of power suit/mech thing going on. I know that's different than Spacey!Luthor, but that's a thought if he ends up fighting with Iron Man. I know what you mean, about the villains, but I really don't know what we're going to do for any non-Batman character as far as antagonists go because we've only got the Gotham rogue's gallery to work with. I'd hate to leave out the X-Men or any of the other DC/Marvel heroes that haven't had a real chance because the only villains are Batman ones. I actually think having the Bats disappear into the shadows would not be such a bad idea. But rather than forcing the plot to be completely dismantled/re-written, how about if that happens at the END of it all? I can see him having some kind of break-down over this shit happening to him again, and then he disappears, leaving a void that Mr. Stark can fill (because really, of the two, I can totally see Mr. Wayne going all Hermit in the Middle of Nowhere, Away From People). I still would love to have the jail-break/asylum-break thing happen like you suggested earlier. It'd generate enough of a huge mess on it's own that we dont' really need the whole Crisis-thing (and I really, really don't like that). Wanting to free Caleb would be a good motivator, and I'll be honest, if Jess got kidnapped Bats wouldn't be able to respond fast enough because Iron Man would beat him to it. I do want Luthor, though. He hasn't been used enough on here. That would also give us LuthorCorp, if you're going that route (I think so, from what you've posted before?). In any case, not all the elements from the original idea need be tossed out. But after this, that's it--I am so worn down by playing Bats so much that I'm thinking of retiring him. <_< (Edit: Holy shit, that got long)

First off let me say this, so I can get it out of my head. DON'T RETIRE BATS, IF ANYTHING I'LL TAKE HIM. *ahem* Also, I agree with everything you said (of course minus the crisis thing, which Megan and I are going to take that plot and throw it somewhere else, not wholly attached to this beats.) Yes Luthor does have the Luthor suit, which he uses all the time, and it's basically Iron Mans suit but purple and green. But yea Let's do it.

Cool. Luthor can start doing his mastermindy-stuff whenever--I don't think there's really a timeline for his end of things, is there? His presence in Paris is already established, at the least.

I know Sarah, I know.
But I am completely serious, you know how I get about Batman, and if you ever decide you are completely finished with ye old dark about the ears, I will gladly, GLADLY I say take him.
I've got to get a crazy scheme going for Luthor here...
Hey Karen, if you'd liiiiike, we could set up a date with Clark and Luthor, maybe Clark is sent to talk to Lex about something he's been working on. Land development in Paris for example? Something ridiculous, just to establish them together and have Supes spy on the old boy?

Yeah, let's! ^^ That sounds as good as any a place to start it off, as Clark's always a bit suspicious of big business anyway (and of course, we know from Batman comics that Lex is good at designing cities).

For Sarah: Charles is in your head Tony! And Karen: LexCorp is up and ready for business! And you're darn tootin he is. Now I play Luthor past his cancer, past the false clones, while he's still a respectable member of society. So he's fought Superman many a time, are you playing Superman pre-this? Or along with this? Or movie... this?

EVERYBODY HAS BETTER ARTIFICIAL LIMBS THAN ADRIAN. >:[
I'm starting to think that a lot of these American corporations coming in here must actually be located in the greater Paris area, where they're actually allowed to have skyscrapers, rather than Paris itself.
Seriously, you guys- at this point we have Wayne Enterprises, GeneCo, Stark Industries, Veidt Enterprises, LexCorp, the Caffey Company, and probably a few others. None of these are French businesses, and all of them are lead by people who are supposed to be among the most powerful in the world. I can't help but wonder how the locals feel about this- as well as the influx of American-style superheroes, and with them, supervillains that do stuff like, you know, severely damage the roof of the Opera Garnier. There have to be some extremely angry Parisians out there who want big business and super-anything to get the hell back to New York/Metropolis/Gotham/wherever. All this American-accented chaos screwing up their lovely city would be such a cultural crisis. I think this is worth exploring.
Karen- do you want me to start a thread for Clark and Megan?
