"It's quite odd to say the least" he stepped to the side and adjusted his gloves "what's stranger is that I can still communicate with the world outside of this one. Calling friends in New York, visiting places outside of Paris that are just the way I remember. I just can't tell you how."
((Oh and that would be awesome, I think I might have the professor send Tony a mental message, asking him to meet him at the institute. Just to touch bases with the man of iron.))

"I think it may be the same for others, as well.
Since you patrol also, I feel I should warn you: there's a new criminal element that's appeared in this city. They have their own handles as well--The Joker, Poison Ivy and Catwoman. They've been causing a lot of trouble, so keep an eye out--you look enough like me that you could be mistaken for Batman in the wrong lighting."

"Oh Bats, I didn't think you were so kind" just then a large vine shot up from the side of the roof and wrapped itself around a chimney, pulling up a scantily clad woman standing atop of bush of vines of flowers.
"Ooh you're almost as cute as he is" she didn't recognize the other man, but if she had to kill him, oh well.

"Poison Ivy I presume" he almost whispered to Batman.

He narrowed his eyes, his gave entirely focused on Poison Ivy.
"Yes."

Ivy tilted her head to the side slowly and smiled "You don't look too glad to see me Batman, I thought you would have all ready gotten over me killing all those innocent people" innocent no, known destroyers of nature, yes.

"I tend to carry grudges for a long time." He deadpanned.

Dan was basically readying himself for anything, it seems this, gorgeous woman before them, happened to be an old enemy of the batman, although he'd never heard of her. He hadn't really stopped to think of the super natural aspects of the situation.

"Tsk tsk oh darling, you shouldn't it causes such undue stress" she hissed. ((By the way this is the Ivy that I play. With the backgrounds based pretty much in the comic books, NOT the movies *shudders*))

"Worried?"

"Never worried" she replied in a sultry tone "but you're friend seems to be."

He glanced over at Nite Owl, wondering what sorts of villains he'd had to deal with in the past. Something as bizarre as Ivy? Or a bit more mundane than that?
"I think you're the one who should be worried, Ivy. You're outnumbered."

"I'm not worried" he replied, sounding terribly convincing, although, truth be told, this would be the first time he would be fighting something other than your run of the mill bad guys, in quite a while.
So yes, he was worried.
"Exactly, so I suggest you stand down."

Ivy giggled "Oh you're nothing like him" she began moving toward them, slowly "see Batman doesn't give us poor defenseless villains a chance. He wouldn't know if we were standing down-" just then two large vines popped through the roof and grabbed both men around the torsos "or just getting up."

With a grunt, he struggled against the vine, trying to wiggle through it enough to get an arm free to cut the vine with.
