Adrien helped Adrian into the apartment, pulled him by the waist onto the couch, and then left to heat milk in a saucepan without explaining what he was doing. When he came back with hot milk he sat beside him, one leg crossed over one of Adrian's knees.
"Here - drink this - "

"Adrien, that's completely unnecessary-"

"Drink it up, now."

He took the glass, moody and exasperated.

"...drink," said Adrien, with a warning tone to his voice.

Adrian took a long sip of it and asked, "You're going to be like this all the time, aren't you?"

"No more pretending to be okay when you're not," said Adrien, taking the glass when Adrian had drained it. "No more doing whatever you feel like just because you're Adrian Veidt. I'm looking after you now, and you're not feeling well. Brush your teeth."
He stood and crossed to the kitchen to wash it.

"You don't have to remind me to do that."

Adrien listened to him leave, and turned to smile in his direction after he had.
When Adrian got out of the bathroom, Adrien was opening his suitcases and sitting elegantly on his knees on the floor, looking at them. Nothing was folded.
"Have you got an ironing board and an iron?" he asked. "I can take these things all down to the laundromat tomorrow and then fold them properly...and keep them here, until I get a dresser, too."
He turned his head to look up at Adrian with a mild smile.

"I'll have the housecleaning staff take care of them. Don't you worry."

His face went blank. "Housecleaning staff?"

"They have a very strict confidentiality agreement," Adrian assured him, though he added, a moment later, "I think we've become what one might call an open secret."

Adrien's head tilted steadily and quickly to an angle on his neck in question.

"I'm fairly certain most of my immediate staff know about you and I, Adrien," he sighed, stretching out one arm to invite the younger man to sit with him.

He got up and went to sit with him, curling slightly, one hand moving to his chest, caressingly.
"But how could they?"
