"I'm the goddess of love, not trust issues." She'd gotten in some hot water for disregarding free will a few centuries back, and generally tried to avoid direct manipulation now. Also, her writer wasn't allowed to godmod. "But advice is free of consequences."
With a wave of her hand, a sumptuous chaise appeared in the hallway. She gracefully draped herself onto it and motioned to the free space at the end. "Now sit down and tell me everything."

Alexander sank into the seat and smiled bitterly.
"I went away to put the last of my empire in order. I planned to never return to it. And I left Nadir a letter, explaining where I'd gone and begged him not to follow, but to wait, if he could find it in his heart to do so."
He shrugged.
"And then I returned to find him bitter and cold and no longer mine."

She sighed. "Communication, Xandros. You have to tell people these things in person. All you can do now is go and talk to him, explain how you feel, and listen to how he feels." Pause. That was Hera-talk. In fact, she might have been quoting the other goddess's marriage counseling advice directly.
"That, or go and argue until one of you kisses the other and you wind up having sex against a wall." That always worked with Ares.

He rose from the bench.
"I must bid you audieu, sister," he said absently.
Then, without even seeing her go, he strode into the main hall and out the doors.

Aphrodite pouted considerably. It was the kind of transgression that, in her younger days, would have prompted her to turn him into a sandy-blond terrier for a few centuries. She rolled her eyes and disappeared in another rush of perfume and smoke, leaving behind her the ornate chaise.
