((I have decided for it to be set after the disastrous dinner but before Adrien has accidentally glomped Dan.))
Adrien was not immediately apparent in this room to anyone who had just entered it (it housed a number of mosaics, a large number of books, and a coffee machine, though God only knows why because it wasn't as though Adrian drank a lot of coffee). The French teenager was sunken into a very impressive red velvet couch with one of Adrian's books on Egyptian mythology, which he knew absolutely nothing about, and wearing a large brown sweater of amazing softness because that was just how well Veidt Fabric Softener worked.
He kept having to pull the book away from his eyes so that the letters wouldn't swim, but other than that he seemed engrossed.

Dan had decided to roam the halls, due to the fact that even though it was what he did most of the time, he just couldn't sit still.
Megan was doing... something, well he didn't really know, he hadn't seen her all day. It might have been one of the reasons why he was so terribly bored. And Micaela and Adrian well they seemed to be mysteriously busy that day.
Walking down a long hall, he noticed an open door, with a soft light coming from it. Deciding he'd check it out, he noticed it looked like a small library with some mosaics.
Heading toward a small bookshelf he scanned the titles.

Adrien heard the sound of someone else in the room, and forgetting they had guests, or not thinking that they might show up, assumed it was Adrian.
"You know you really are awfully nerdish," he said fondly and a little teasingly.

Dan turned suddenly toward the voice in the room, to see Adrien sitting on the couch "Excuse me?"

Adrien glanced up and his smile faded into a bright blush as he sat up, slightly embarrassed. "Oh my God, I am so sorry - I wasn't - "

Dan's look of surprise however turned in to a comforting smile "Oh, no worries, no worries it's a proper description, who did you think I was?"

Adrien held up the book, which was open to a photograph of some beautiful Egyptian art.
"Adrian. You know somewhere there's a picture of him and Micaela based off this, right?"

"I-I had no idea actually" Dan replied with a slight stutter "I'm sure it's quite lovely."

"Oh, no, yeah, definitely. Especially if you are the world's biggest Egypt nerd."
He thumbed through the book, felt a slight strain in his eyes, and pulled it back several inches again to relieve them.
"They're in costume in it. I think Micaela's dress is pretty."

Dan replied with a belly laugh before looking down "I'm sure she looks wonderful" walking over to where Adrien was sitting, and sat on the other side of the couch.
"You don't mind do you?"

"That her dress is pretty?"
He didn't mind that Dan sat on the couch to such a degree that he didn't even think Dan meant that.

"Oh, yea, yea, her dress."

"Why would I mind that her dress is pretty?" he asked, baffled and laughing about it.

"Oh no, no! I meant you don't mind if I sit here."

"Oh, no. Why would I?" He frowned.
