"That would be very nice of you, Micaela. I know it's odd that I go to the tomb every so often, but it's...comforting, somehow."

*She shrugged.*
"It's fine. My father's side of the family doesn't have a matriarch to it, as my grandmother Ruth died when my father was 15. They visit her tomb ever christmas before presents."
*A flicker of sadness entered her eyes.* "They said I got my voice from her--she was a high soprano, and was training to become an Opera star before she met my grandfather. It's one of the reasons they were so happy when I came here."

*He smiled at her understanding*
"Well, we don't have to go right now, we could, perhaps, sing a few lines from your opera?"

*She smiled, standing up and grabbing the score.*
"Alright." *She said happily.* "Umm..." *She thought for a second, setting it down on the piano.* "How about right after Eponine shows him where Cosette lives? There's an aria there for him." *She said, already sitting down at the piano.*

"Sounds good to me--start whenever you're ready."

*She looked up at him.*
"I assume you can sight-read." *She said.* "I'll come in as Cosette, she's only in this song a bit at the end, before the duet."
*She turned to the score and began playing a soft, gentle melody which would eventually develop into a passionate love ballad as the song wore on. She was particularly proud of htis one, with the right voice it could be an incredible number.*

*He nodded to the sight-reading comment, and joined in at the right moment, singing in the beautiful voice of his*

*Her eyes gently fluttered closed, her fingers flying across the keys at the dramatic parts, then slowing down into the gentle melody from the beginning, singing Cosette's small, frightened part in the song. She was unaware at this point of Marius, and was sitting in her garden. Her voice was perfectly suited to the part, though she would never consider casting herself. She was silent once more, concentrating on letting Christian sing Marius's next part, where he decides to cross the wall.*

*He concentrated on the music and the singing, imagining the scene in his head and letting the music swirl around him*

*She eventually slowed down the playing at a proper point, during a musical interlude between the main romantic duet of the whole opera and this aria.*
"The duet is next," *She explained* "When Marius jumps the wall and proclaims his love for her." *She said.*

*He nodded*
"Keep on playing."

*She turned to look at him questioningly, blushing ever so slightly.*
"Okay." *She said softly, going into the duet introduction on piano, in which Cosette started, singing about her loneliness. Until Marius entered, of course, when he would sing, frightening her with his proclamations of love, and she would sing about that for a while. Marius would sing to her soothingly, she would go into a sort of a trance, realising that she loved him too, and she would inform him in song. Marius would sing joyously at this news, and then they would sing together for a few verses before Thenardier's gang came in and frightened the two lovers, transitioning into the next scene.*
*She softly began Cosette's part, singing green finch and linnet bird about being lonely and how she longed for love in her life, or at least adventure.*
((feel free to godmod me a bit if it's necessary. I don't particularly mind unless it's something important.))

Clara skipped in, hearing her "auntie" and a boy talking. "Hi, Aunt Micaela!" she piped happily.

*Micaela crashed the chords awkwardly.*
"'Lo Clara!" *She called merrily.* "We were just singing Marius and Cosette's duet. Clara, this is Christian, Christian, Clara." *She said, standing up and introducing the two.* "Clara's going to be playing Little Cosette." *She explained.*

*Christian was startled when the piano crashed, but he quickly recovered as the little girl skipped in*
"Hello, Clara."
*He said pleasantly*
"I might be Marius." *He winked in Micaela's direction*
