*strolls onto the stage, breathing in the familiar scent deeply as she looked out into the dark house; it had been so long since she'd danced on this stage, but it felt like only yesterday*

((I FOUND YOU! FINALLY))
Percy moved quickly from the shadows. It had taken little thinking before he realized that Meg would know how to find Erik.
And Erik would lead to Vianne.
"Madmoiselle Giry?" he called softly.

*turns to see a vaguely familiar man approaching*
Yes?
Why does he seem familiar? Maybe he was a stagehand here when I was young...?

((Aha, another one! Feel free. Except I'm married to Madame Giry, and Margot is dead. Sorry. I did, however, just rescue the Dauphin))
Percy stopped before the ballerina and bowed.
"Madamoiselle, I understand that this is awkward, but I must find the Opera Ghost's lair. Can you assist me?"

*is caught so completely off-guard by his question that she almost appears to lose her ballance momentarily before responding*
Excuse me? Why--why would I know where the Opera Ghost's lair is? I don't know anything about the Opera Ghost...
*immediately turns to leave the stage in a dull panic*

"Margureite!" Percy called.
"Erik knows where your mother is," he said fiercely. "And I must find her."

*whips around, hair flying*
What? Who are you, what do you know about my mother?

Percy sighed.
"You don't recognize me, and I apologize. I believe we had the pleasure of aquaintance at your mother's...funeral. I'm her husband."

Oh, you're Blakeney...that's why you look so familiar!
*shakes off the relief from finally placing him and returns to annoyance*
Firstly, no, we did not have the pleasure of acquaintance at her funeral, because neither of you paid any attention to me on that day. Secondly, I still have no interest in helping you find her, because I have no interest in ever finding her again!

Percy cocked his head and studied her for a moment.
"Might I ask why?"

Because she is a vile, selfish, lying woman and I am ashamed that she's my mother.
*shakes with the effort to control her voice*

Percy's eyes gentled.
"You have been listening to lies, truly, for the woman I married is none of those things."

((Don't you hiss at me, it's your own fault.))
I didn't think so either, for almost all of my life. But I recently discovered a few new things about her, and it turns out that she's not at all what I thought. Or what you still think.
