He slept on.
In an hour, he woke up with a fit of violent coughing, feeling miserable. Although the waterbed was nice. Being sick at Divine's was no fun. The couch wasn't that comfortable.

"Awake, I see," he said, coming in from the living room. "You sound dreadful."

"I feel dreadful," he said in a rough voice, sounding almost hurt. He leaned forward a little further and slowly, painfully drew back the covers, intending to go and get a drink of water.

"A glass of water," he said raspily with a sweet, thankful look at Adrian as he slid back under the covers.

He left, and returned with one a few minutes later.

He sipped, gripping the glass wth two hands. It felt cool running down his throat, though it still didn't taste good.
He handed it back with a barely-audible thank you and slid back under the covers.
