Some habits didn't die, even when their owners did.
Bella was curled up in the window of a turret with a heavy book across her lap and a beam of moonlight to see by (though she'd found that since her transformation, it was far easier to see in the dark anyway).

Yager knocked on the door before bursting in, the man was after all quite incapable of making any sort of normal entrance.
"Hey, Belle..." He greeted with the 'I know something really good that you don't know' sort of grin usually only found on five-year old boys.

"The big boss is asking if you want to come downstairs for dinner." Yager grinned and swung himself up onto and nearly over the windowsill.
Not at all bothered by this near-death experience the vampire hunter cocked his head in an attempt to see what Belle was reading.

"All right..." Yager swung off the sill again, walked to the door, but then stopped and turned around.
"And eh, Belle... you might wanna dress up really nice this time... trust me." With another grin and a wink Yager rushed off to tell the count Belle would be coming soon.
