"Either." He said with a wince.
Seeing her in the light, it was obvious that she hadn't slept in a while. He wasn't the only one that was having a bad time.
László, too, noticed around the same time as John that Louis had gone "poof", but he didn't comment on it.
"Yeah, okay." He said after Isa's question.

Smiling she lifted his hands slowly and pulled up on his shirt, she resisted the urge to say something rude about him being used to this type of treatment and then taking his clothes off. But she realized as the thought came to her head she stopped it.
She might have been tired, but she wasn't malicious.
"I'd rather not, uh, unbutton your pants. This might be a house call young man, but I'm still alone with you in a bedroom."

He rolled his eyes good-naturedly.
"Well, really, you don't have to do that. Most of the bruises you can see."

She sighed "If you're sure, because if I miss something and you show up at the hospital complaining about leg pain, I'm going to punch you myself."

He chuckled weakly.
"I promise."

"All right, and just to let you know, I've got one hell of a right hook." Pulling out some gauze and grabbing her own bottle of alcohol she began to do one hell of a patch job.
"You're ribs are pretty beat up, so do me a favor, after I bandage you up today, do not do anything to move these, if you catch my drift. Or you will regret it."

"I'll take that warning to heart."
When she got to the comment about his ribs, nodded.
"I...I'll stay in. Promise."
He would...at least, for a whole 24 hours. After that he'd see how well he was, and if he could make it after that.

"Thank you" she smiled "well there you go, I have to leave here, but, oh" she grabbed a small bottle of pills out of her bag "take these for pain, ONLY when you are feeling pain. Too much and again dear you will regret it. Now try and take care of yourself" leaning over she kissed Laszlo on the forehead "please."
This city can't take everyone.
Smiling she left and grabbed John on the way downstairs to talk to him about something.

"I'll be careful. You take care too, all right?"
The rather motherly attention he got put him in mind of another mother entirely, but he quickly pushed that away. Now was not the time to dwelled on a half-recalled memory.

As Isa left Louis slowly opened up the door slowly "Uh, hi."

One eyebrow went up at the vampire's appearance from...the closet.
"That's where you disappered to? And here I thought is was some supernatural vanishing act." He teased.

"Sometimes I wish I could just disappear like that" he chuckled "I didn't know what to do, she would have known..."

"Yeahhh...it wouldn't have been good if she'd seen you."
He'd settled back down onto the mattress, careful not to aggravate anything and somehow managing it.

"Seeing her face, I don't think seeing me would have done the poor dear any good, ah.. do you need any help?"

"Seeing her face, I think she might've murdered you."
He slowly shook his head.
"I'm okay. I can only wait for it to heal up now."
