((*grins* Kidding. I really am running out of stuff though. Which sucks.))
Sir Percy bowed. "Your servant, madame."
Hesitantly, he asked, "I would beg your good favor, and trust that it would not inconvience you were I to read a note given to me by one of my comrades, since Erik is still deciding whether or not he should kill Demiselle or let her join him?"

"Certainly it would not inconvenience me. You may do as you wish, Monsieur." *Mme. Giry solemnly gazed down at her hands folded in her lap.*

Sir Percy bowed.
"Truly, madame, you are an angel among women."
More quietly, he added, "There is no need to avert your eyes. You have my trust."
Slipping the scrap of paper from his well-cut sleeve, he persued the contents intently.
A. in danger. Come at once. Usual place. -A.F.
Grimacing, Percy tried to hide his fear for his comrade from Madame Giry, but that woman was altogether too used to hidden gestures.

"Something is amiss, Monsieur?" *Madame Giry observed her companion's face closely--enough to determine a shade paler than before creeping across his countenance.*

Sir Percy hesitated. Confiding in this woman would bring her into all the danger he'd sworn to keep her from.
Let her be the judge of that.
"Madam," he said abruptly, "I have recieved a distressing note concerning the young official I must rescue. I have no desire to put you in any danger...but his life is at risk. I would beg you to stay here, but I will not stop you if you come. Know, however, that if you accompany me, there is no turning back."
He looked quietly, almost earnstly at her, for an answer.

*Madame Giry considered for a moment.* "If Erik were to join you, and to be in this young man's place, in some danger...I know I would wish whoever were able to help him would do so. This young man must be dear to someone. That is reason enough for me to help you if I am able."

"If Erik were online, and joined us, this would be so much simpler"
He was quiet for a moment. "Yes, Armand is very dear to someone."
Percy stared very intently into her dark eyes.
"You understand what you risk?"

*Madame Giry turned her eyes onto the man's sternly chiselled visage.* "I understand the goal, Monsieur; and the risk is minute in comparison to what failure may bring."

Percy bowed very deeply.
"Then come with me, madame. The Ghost must wait."

*Erik, in his daily rounds about the Opera, was startled to hear Madame Giry's voice. She had not come calling in some time. She had never bothered him without reason, however.*
"Yes?" *he called back softly.

"What are you doing back at the opera?" *she asked quietly, before a thought struck her.* "...have you been here all this while?"

"Erik does not leave the opera," *he said sadly.* "And nobody misses him, when he is alone."

*Cassiopeia rushed into the auditorium, looking rather flustered and nervous, and walked up to Madame Giry, saying*
"Madame Giry, I was wondering whether I could arrange a..." She stopped, noticing what her eyes were trained on. "What are you looking at?"
