"What is a Sivaroose?" Alfred asked without real interest as he grabbed the drink and downed it in one go, desperate to push back the visions again.

"Oh- you haven't met him yet," she said, with a very faint blush that was nevertheless a bit of an achievement for a vampire. "My husband."
She extended her left hand to show Alfred her ring.

"You got married?" Well, at least it was a comfort that she did well for herself after her death and abandonment.

She nodded. Her half... ponytail... updo... thing... bobbled with the movement.

"And done something different with your hair." Alfred began to grin, apparently the cider was stronger than he'd assumed...
Man, this was really somewhat weird...

"I'm afraid nature's to blame for that. Or un-nature, or something like that..."

"I like it," Alfred quipped. "It provides a distraction from your rack." He began to giggle, then grabbed the cup that had contained cider again and sniffed.
"You drugged me, didn't you?" Sedatives always had a bit of a strange effect on him.

"You're probably in a lot of pain right now," said Magda, ignoring the rack comment. "I dought this might calm you down a bit."

"I'm only in pain because you just beat me half to death... but I suppose I deserved it." He yawned.

"You'll feel better ewentually," Magda cooed, pushing his hair back from his forehead. "You're burning up as it is. I didn't even sink we could get fevers..."

"We don't live, but still learn... I don't suppose you've got Echinacea or Yarrow? Tea from either helps against fever." Knowledge about plants and such was always at the ready in Alfred's mind.

Alfred proceeded to mention several more plants that could be helpful, even if he was getting a bit drowsy.

"You can stay here as long as you need to," Magda continued. "Sivaroose is very understandink vhen he needs to be."
She reached into the hallway and pulled a framed picture from the wall and handed it to Alfred. Magda grinned happily (and fangily) from within the photograph, with her arm around a Snape who clearly did not want to be in the picture at all.

"Your mortal looks more like a vampire than we do," Alfred remarked with a half-grin. "But I only need to stay until sunrise."
