Charles had told his students that day that if they had any questions that he would be in his office, but he knew that the circus was having a half off day, and knew he wouldn't see one student that day.
So he lay back in his chair as a couple of pieces of paper began to fold themselves in to separate forms.

"My, Charles... if I didn't know any better I'd say old age was making you lazy."
Erik leaned against the doorway, grinning that sly knowing grin of his with his arms crossed over his chest.

One of the finished planes started flying around Erik's head "I've finished my work what else do I have to do?" He chuckled.

Erik's eyes followed the plane for a few moments, then he shook his head.
"This is what you get for banishing all our students to some different dimension, Charles." Magneto attempted mock-disapproval, but was truly having a hard time not to chuckle.
Teenage girls who promised him cotton candy before hastily escaping through the wall did that to him.

"I did not banish them" he sighed "we'll find more students here, it's just a matter of time, we have yet to truly establish ourselves."

"Banish them, say something about a circus... same thing, really." Erik chuckled and walked into the room.
"Don't fret, Charles... soon we shall be wishing for even the tiniest moment's peace."

"What, do you not enjoy the circus?" He asked another piece of paper turning in to a boat and floating above his large fish tank in the corner "Yes, then it'll truly be home."

"It depends on the circus, I suppose... it was always entertaining to see your Nightcrawler perform."
Then again, Erik also knew the kind of circus that kept mutants trapped for the 'entertainment' of humans... he wasn't very fond of that kind.

"He is quite talented isn't he?" He smiled as a group of paper planes swooped in past his own head.

"I was impressed by the trapeze act." Erik nodded, then grinned a somewhat evil grin as he mobilized several paperclips.
The things promptly started chasing Charles' airplanes.

Charles laughed as he watched the paperclips move about with Charles planes "I wonder where he is now a days."

"I'm sure Kurt will be just fine... Germans are hardy folk." Erik chuckled before letting one of his paperclips divebomb Charles' little boat.

The boat suddenly began tearing itself apart and huffed "As I've seen."

Erik might be one of the most powerful mutants in the world, a genius and at certain points in his life even king and creator... but nobody could resist such an easy joke.
"I do believe I just sank your battleship."

Charles snorted "Oh my, it seems you have."
