Without warning, Celestine appeared within the room and laid down gently the body of Xanthe Lilly upon the bed.

Dean shot up from where he'd been reading (yes, he could read, thank you very much) one of the occult books. The hunter had already grabbed and aimed his gun when he recognized the angel.
His gaze flicked to the bed.
"You brought a dead chick?"

"And I didn't bother to knock, either," the angel added with a touch of sarcasm. "Do you actually learn anything useful from those books of yours?" He furrowed his brow and jerked his head in the general direction of the book that Dean had left splayed out on the floor, in his hurry.

"Mostly what we're not looking for." Dean shook his head as he put down his gun.
Once more he looked at the bed.
"But dude... you brought a dead chick! Live ones are a lot more fun, you know."

"Really? I wouldn't know about that, myself, but I am curious. What's it like?" Celestine asked, tilting his head to one side.

"What? Getting it on?"
Dean grinned... now here he was an expert. Still, mucking about with a reference the angel wouldn't get was fun too.
"Like warm applepie."

Celestine knitted his brows together in confusion.
"Being a human is warm and delicious?"

"I was talking about sex, featherbrain." Dean rolled his eyes.
Oh well, down to business it was then.
"Still, I have to ask... dead chick. Why?" He made a futile gesture. "Why is there a dead chick in my bed?"

"I apologize for my ignorance," Celestine sighed.
The angel leaned his entire weight against the far wall, across from Xanthe's body and the bed. "Well, Dean, I'm surprised you haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary by now. Anything supernatural," he hinted.
((See what I did there? ;D))

"Dude, there's a dead chick in my bed."
This was actually new... not many things were new anymore.
Still, Dean walked towards the bed for a closer look.

"Examine the body thoroughly," he instructed. Crossing his arms, he asked, "You've been around the dead before. Why the surprise?"

"Because you dumped a dead chick in my bed..." Dean grumbled as he inspected the body.
"Stupidangelshouldgetlaid," he muttered under his breath.
He straightened up again. "Well, I don't see any clear indications of violence."

((Lol.))
Celestine raised his brows. "Then, I should inform you that the cause of death was not due to poisons or drugs. No drowning, no suffocation. Now, you don't find anything...peculiar about the fact that she hasn't suffered any trauma?"

"Well, duh." Dean rolled his eyes.
"Some ghost? I've seen cases where people were scared to death. Demons prefer doing things the messy way." The hunter sometimes couldn't help but wonder who the unfortunate souls were who had to clean up after that sort of thing.

He shook his head. "It's neither a ghost nor a demon. In fact...it's our angel."
