Hawkeye walked in to the lobby of the inn, surprised to see that it was nothing like he imagined. There were people everywhere of all shapes and sizes.
He walked up to the front desk "I'm here for Kris."

Whoever was at the desk called up unceremoniously to Kris, who danced down the stairs wearing a cotton sundress paired with low-top Converse sneakers. This was dressing up, to her. She grinned when she saw Hawkeye.
"Hey," she said. "Sorry I'm late. I'm glad you found the place."

He smiled and handed her a bouquet of wildflowers and a box of chocolates "It wasn't hard, it seems everyone at the hospital has stayed here at least once."
((I spelled something wrong in that scentence... what the hell is it.))

((I has a bouquet?))
Kris smiled, a little slyly though only she would know why.
"Yeah, this place tends to attract... well, everyone," she said. She beamed at the flowers. "For me?" she said stupidly. "Thanks. I love them. And chocolates."
She set them down on a side table, smelling the flowers first. Odd, a proper date, on the 'verse. With flowers!
"So. Where are we going?"

((THAT WAS IT! Thank you.))
"Beautiful flowers for a beautiful lady" he leaned over and kissed her on the cheek "I had a couple things in mind, but as you initiated this sweet heart, is there anywhere special you'd like to go?"

"A little forward, wasn't I?" Kris mused, not unhappily. "Well, I'd be happy to take charge, but I don't need to. I'd love to hear your suggestions."

He swept her arm up in an overly dramatic way "I was thinking a candlelight dinner under the stars, wine and if you don't drink, then grape juice with some rrrromantic music playing the background."
He smiled and spun her around.
"Or the arcade and a hot dog, it's up to you."

Kris laughed.
"Either sounds divine," she said. "But I don't drink; it's not a moral thing, I'm allergic." To say the least. "But I think it's only fair to tell you, I'm the kind of girl who thinks that the arcade is just as romantic."

"Well then let's have some fun, dinner's all right, but I think people get to know each other better when there's games involved."

Kris grinned.
"I couldn't agree more," she said. "There's nothing like learning how sore a loser a man is to solidify an opinion." She blinked up at him innocently. "You're not a sore loser, are you?"

He lead her out of the inn "I don't know, I've never lost."

"Oh yeah?" she asked, arching an eyebrow. "Well this should be interesting, then."

(( The Boardwalk)) He smiled and helped her in to the carriage "To the boardwalk my good sir!"
