Amras sat in a silent meditation underneath a old willow, beneath a blanket of fog. He breathed slowly in, and out allowing the coolness of the air hit the back of his throat.
He had, had a nightmare the night before, and felt a strangeness in himself. So he decided to take the day to think on it, to prove to himself, it was only a dream.

She wasnt angry. Anger was such an ugly emotion so even when it is felt it must never be shown. It would be more appropriate to say that she was... frustrated. The water molecules that often hung around the early morning reacted to her turbulent aura and gathered around her in a slow moving hurricane of mist so that her body was partially masked by the glimmer of the dull morning light. The reason for her frustration was clear: she was lost.
Nanashi does not get lost.

Amras was suddenly pulled from his mind to view a beautiful woman with blue hair walking toward his direction, particularly unaware of his presence. She seemed terribly upset and he figured that she was probably lost.
He felt a powerful aura eminating from her and, felt a powerful urge to stand up and bow. He resisted the urge to bow immediately before addressing the strange woman "'Quel amrun, Good morning."

Nanashi froze in her step and stared at the peculiar male elf that had addressed her, suprised to hear a voice when she had been alone in her thoughts for some time. She looked him over: strong appearence, long and muscular but not in the way a meatheaded body builder was. He was almost handsome.
Nanashi's left eye twitched, "Good Morning." Her voice was icy and unwelcome.

He watched the woman carefully, she wasn't elven, nor was she human, she was something else entirely and it almost frightened him.
"It seems that you are lost" he said softly "could I be of service, I know these towns as I know my own name."

Nanashi looked around her almost as if she hadnt heard him talk. When he went to speak again she cut him off, "I doubt you could help me, no matter your intentions."
"This world is... unfamiliar. The air here is dry of the comforting energy of which I am familiar with. There are... trees here; that in itself is strange. My home is that of the endless snow... I feel I have been spirited away." She turned her cold stare to the elf, "I believe that my home has abandoned me here."

He listened to her carefully, taking no offense to her rude nature "Than my assumption is correct, you are not only lost, but neither elven nor human." He bowed "Please than allow me to be of service in finding you a place to stay."

Nanashi's eyes narrowed with suspicion, "Are you trustworthy?" She paused then the ghost of a smirk found its way on her pale lips, "A lone woman wondering around in the mist, alone and lost, is an easy target for men with an agenda."

Amras could have laughed, but kept any amusement at bay "Trust in me that I have no agenda, I was out here meditating on a dream while my, partner, slept. I mean no harm in providing you with assistance, simply a gesture of good will, on my part."

"I did not ask if I could trust you, only if you were a trustworthy person," she said with humor. Then walked briskly past him, pausing a few feet away. "I will believe you have no agenda and I also believe I will take you up on your offer." She paused and turned fully to face him, "What is your name, elf?"

Nanashi allowed him to reach her side before following in step with him, her pale face being shadowed by a frown.

Amras headed in the direction toward the capital city "It is but a mile from here" he spoke softly "if I may be so bold as to ask your name."

Nanashi turned one bright blue eye to him and answered, "I am nameless so... I suppose you may call me Nanashi."

"Nanashi" he rolled her name over in his mind before his eyes widened, he suddenly stopped and bowed deeply "milady."
