Louis pulled Lazlo in to a box, he was sure wasn't five, and sat down "They won't know were here as long as were quiet" he instructed and pulled the curtains halfway closed without a sound.

"How very sneaky."
Dropping the banter, though, he was soon absorbed in watching the proceedings. Some of the singers obviously had problems with each other, and one was a rather overblown prima donna, but on whole he enjoyed it for what it was--a clear look at something he'd had to keep a distance from.

Louis, abosorbed in the proceedings, found himself drifting in to an odd state.
He had come to terms with Lestat leaving him so alone, so confused, he had come to terms with his lonliness. But the music reminded him of Lestat, it reminded him of the companionship he so craved.
Turning to Lazlo he smiled, this time the way he wanted to "Enjoying yourself?"

László's answering smile was the most genuine that he'd had in a long time. Nothing coy or misleading, he was actually happy.
"I've always wanted to see the inside of one of these places, see the people at work. I only had my imagination for the longest time. But now here it is," he said, voice growing softer. "Better than I imagined."
Embarrassed that he'd said so much about himself, he glanced away from Louis.

Louis smiled at the boys honesty "Than I'm glad that I could help."

László coughed, still rather embarrassed.
"Yes...thanks, for helping me get in."

"Of course" Louis grinned "it wasn't hard, I come here enough I imagine if I would have brought a horde of orphans with me they would have nodded and let me through."

He chuckled.
"I can't imagine they'd be happy, though. Probably would be all squeamish about it."

"Oh most definitely, but what can they say? I have money and they want my money" he laughed "so if they want my continued patronage than they have to deal with whatever I do."

With a an almost sly look, he turned to Louis.
"So...you didn't exactly bring me here to talk about how you could annoy the management. Or even opera."

Louis turned to the boy with a laugh "Maybe I have maybe I haven't."

He scooted a bit closer, lightly laying a hand on Louis' arm. His gaze was steady, no more coyness, though now up close and in the light László could see just how pale the other man was, the exotic color of his eyes.
"Which one is it?"

Louis turned to him with a smile "What would you rather I spend my money on?"

"I think the opera has plenty of money. Me, on the other hand..."
He lowered his eyes, affecting a demure expression.
"...not so much."

Louis leaned over and kissed the boy softly.
