Lune entered the front door. She looked around, expecting a servant coming to greet her.
"Hello?" she called.
The place was empty and silent, her footsteps echoed as she entered the hall. It was soon morning, maybe that was because nobody was here, she figured.
The castle's insides didn't really look abandoned, so he couldn't have left Paris a long time ago. Maybe he still might be here.
"Aurel? Father?" Lune called, now her beautiful voice louder than before.

Aurel was about to go to sleep in his coffin, when he thought he heard something. He stood perfectly still for a short second, listening. He sensed someone had entered, someone that wasn't a threat. Who could it be, this feeling felt utterly familiar.
He hurried out of his bedroom, down the stairs, and appeared right before his daughter's eyes. At first he stared in wonder, trying to figure out whether he was hallucinating or not. But there she was, his stunningly beautiful daughter.
He smiled widely and opened his arms to her.
"Come to me, my child" he said, closing his protective arms around her. Aurel wasn't always good telling people of his feelings, when there weren't any hatred or attempt od hurting behind them, and didn't know what to say at first. He stood with Lune in his arms for a short second, before he released her and looked into her green eyes, so much like his own.
"Welcome back" he said warmly.

Lune smiled up at Aurel. She had for a short second believed that he would be angry with her, and demand of where she had been all of this time. But as he said nothing of the sort, she relaxed and felt at ease. She had always liked this place, though she hadn't been here that many times. When she stayed with Aurel for a short while when she was younger, it had been in London. Suddenly she came to think of Vincent, and her eyes lightened up of excitement. If Aurel was here, maybe Vincent would bee here too.
"Is he here?"

Aurel frowned. He? Who was she talking about; Nicolas? Lune couldn't have meant him, they haven't even met. Then, the name Aurel hadn't want to think about for a long while appeared in his mind.
Vincent.
Aurel looked at his daughter, for once letting the sorrow show on his face.
"No. I am verry sorry. I hasn't been here for a very long time. I don't know where he is", he answered slowly.

The light in Lune's eyes faded and disappeared. He wasn't here. Of course he wasn't.
She tried to think of where Vincent might have gone to, but she couldn't figure it out. Absentminded, she walked past Aurel, not really considering the fact that he might want to talk to her more. But the loneliness that had struck her was too painful, and all that she wanted to do was go to sleep. She was on her way to Vincent's room when an other face than Vincent's appeared in her mind. Nicolas. She continued walking, now with a light smile on her lips. In one week. The'll meet again in one week.
Lune walked up the stairs, and was shortly out of her father's sight.
One week, she thought, and forced her mental picture of Vincent away and replaced with Nicolas's handsome face. Doing that made her feel a little better.
