Hazel took a peek inside. Her eyes widened in child-like wonder. It was the biggest room she had ever seen in her life. The tapestry on the walls, the chandeliers, the decorations everywhere, the pillars. This was a whole new world opening for her. A world she couldn't even dream of.

"It's a bit, what's the word, gaudy, but it's still a sight to see" she ushered Hazel in with a soft push and smiled "when I was singing here I lived here, so I guess I don't see it as wonderful as you might see it."
Isa grinned and started walking around the foyer, there were a few people in there, but it was a thursday so it wasn't as if there were any plays going on. Just rehersals.

Hazel smiled and looked up at Isa.
"I think it is more beautiful for those who only visit than for those who work here. What are we going to do here?"
She asked curiously, while walking around with Isa. She was a well-mannered child and walked by Isa's side instead of running around on her own.

"Well I wanted to bring you here so I could show you what you could do with that voice of yours." She smiled and touched Hazel's shoulder "How about you sing something for me right here in the foyer? I know there are people around and I know it's an odd place to sing, but I taught myself how to sing and dance while in the military so no place is weird for me."
She grinned and watched Hazel carefully.

Hazel blushed and looked up at Isa.
"How did you know? Oh, Papa told you about me, didn't he?"
She focused for a little while, then she started singing the song Wild sang for her in the orphanage.

Isa smiled and listened carefully, picking out her strong points and her weak points. Her voice was untrained and that was obvious, but then again the little girl was only eight years old and for eight years old.
It wasn't bad.
As Hazel finished her song, those in the foyer clapped along with Isa "That was quite good" Isa smiled and extended her hand to Hazel "now take a bow."

Hazel blushed and looked down. She hadn't noticed she had an audience. She bowed, as Isa had told her too, even if she rather had wanted to run away and hide somewhere.
"Wild said my voice would get better if I kept practising."
She whispered to Isa.

"Of course it will, that's what I'm here for" Isa smiled and took Hazel's hand "how about we go see the auditorium?"

Hazel took Isa's hand and followed her, with a smile.
"I've never seen an auditorium before."

"Oh you'll love it, it's the biggest thing in the hole building!" Isa chuckled and lead Hazel in to the backstage area getting a nod and a smile from the security, who she'd known forever. If she hadn't have been there a million times before, the backstage would have frightened her, it still kind of did, but not like it would have if it was her first time there.
She looked down at Hazel "All right?"

If the backstage didn't frighten Isa, it sure frightened Hazel. The only reason she was still here instead of running away, was that she thought of how disappointed Papa would be if she ran away, after all the work he had done to bring her here. And she would never disappoint Papa or hurt him in other ways. She straightened her back and swallowed heavily, before she managed a smile to Isa.
"I-I think so."

"I know it's really scary back here" she said with a reassuring chuckle "but there is absolutely nothing to be afraid of."
Except from the phantom and all the other whackos that hang around this place..
"We might even run in to my old friend Jesse, he's the head of maitenence, takes care of all the whole building." She smiled and lead Hazel a little quicker through a shortcut she knew to get to the auditorium.
((New Post in the auditorium, cause we can.))

Hazel looked up at Isa, as if to ask "Are you sure?". But she didn't say it out loud. She offered a trembling smile. "Your friend sounds like a nice guy." She felt relief when they left the backstage. It was like someone had stood there in the darkness, looking at her. But that was her childish imagination of course. ((Great. I'll meet you there ))

**NEW NIGHT**
The opera wasn't quite what Daniel had in mind when they headed out...he definitely wasn't dressed for it, not that he cared if he was under or over-dressed for an occasion or not. And, well it wasn't quite how he'd imagined an opera house would look, at least on the inside.
"...how...gold." He muttered.
