Nightfall bursted out laughing and quickly threw herself away from her attacker. She even attacked like a cat! This was more fun than Nightfall could ever hope for. She continued teasing, wondering if the cat would explode if Nightfall went far enough.
"Oooooh. Someone needs to get themselves a therapist...."

Well, when one was her size, how was one supposed to attack? Well, probably with magic, but no, she wasn't thinking about that now, just hurting the other, and continuing to be angered by her taunts.
"Nnngrah!" she screamed back, clawing. "Shut up! I don't know what that is!"

Nightfall laughed and jumped aside again, keeping herself on safe distance from the claws.
"Ooooh, an anger class management reject, are we??? Well, I can see that..."
She looked over at the woman, teasingly. There was a river floating right behind her. Perhaps she could need to cool down a bit??? The water in the river was cold this time of year...
"You got a hot temper there, kitty-cat. Maybe too hot for your own good... Maybe you need to CHILL a bit?"
She gave the woman a shove in the chest, in the direction of the river.

Midna managed to land on the ground now, whirling. It wouldn't do it at all if anyone she knew were to see her now...though they probably would expect something similar from her.
Nor had she ever heard of anger management--but then, she had come from a world where almost everyone lived in peace. There'd been no need to get upset if one or two individuals had a temper.
Though she could hear the river, the princess gave it no thought until she heard the mocking elf, and her eyes widened, about to jump up again. "Why, you--!" Instead, she was caught midway through it, and found herself tumbling backwards. On touching the water, she almost yelped; that was freezing, and she was, after all, a fragile being.

Nightfall grinned when she noticed the woman landing on the ground, tumbling backwards until she touched the water. She also noticed the almost yelping sound.
"Oooooh, a bit touchy, are we? Perhaps this will remind us to control our temper, hmmmm?"
Her voice was still teasing, and her eyes were glittering with laughter.

Midna sat up, and slowly shook her head, soaked. Ughh..."She spat out some water, and glared at the elf who'd just shoved her. However, she didn't mount another attack; some self-control had come back to her as the cold shocked her, and...something else had, too. When she stood up, as the water dripped from her, it was her true form.
"I don't have time for this right now," she said icily, turning up her nose so that the sunlight reflected off the jewel on her forehead, hopefully into Nightfall's eyes. "I have very important business engagements, but believe me, you don't know who you just made an enemy of."

Nightfall chuckled with laughter and looked at her. The jewel on her forehead was blinking, and if she had been interested in making friends with this comic little imp, she would probably have asked why. But since they had made such a bad start, Nightfall thought she could just as well continue that way. She laughed heartily and replied sweetly.
"You know, pussy, I can't think of anyone who wants an engagement with you. Business or otherwise."

Obviously the attempt on Midna's part to look more serious by switching to her other form had failed, and she frowned, her violet lips pursing, and twirled her cape around her. More composed, she gave a look of aristocratic disdain and started to turn aside. As she heard the woman keep talking, though, she turned back, her cape swirling about her. "For Goddesses' sake, I'm not a cat," she snapped through clench teeth, "Nor am I an elf. Not that it's any of your business to know, but first I'll be contacting your sage to find my way home."

Nightfall chuckled with laughter. When she spoke, it was in mock pity.
"Ooooh, Pardonnez-moi, mon Princesse! You know, you're not the only royalty around here, kitty-cat. So get out of your litterbox and start behaving like people. "
She studied her fingernails indifferently and continued in her mocking voice.
"As for my sage, you would not contact her after knowing who she is, even if she is the only one who CAN help bringing you home. I should probably not help you out after all we've been through, but since I don't like you and will be more than happy to get rid of you, I'll help you out anyway. The sage you are trying to find, is my mother Leetah; the white magic shaman of Lorien, the most powerful of the shamans, except from her cousin Wild, the black magic shaman."

As annoyed as she was, it was all Midna could do to stifle a snicker herself at those words. Well, not all; she was still going to punish this girl for calling her that later, but the others...she had led not a life of privilege but one of hard work studying and working. She'd had to learn duty the hard way, even if she had been selfish about it; now she was far from it. Except, perhaps, in matters of love.
"You really do not know me, so I think maybe you shouldn't talk about me. Or at all," she added.
Once more she was about to go when she heard Nightfall. "And why wouldn't I?" she asked supiciously, tilting her head to look at the woman. Oh, she shouldn't help her! Well, who had started it?
In any case, she sighed. "Well, much as I regret it, I must admit my gratitude for that. You can, however, expect a visit again when I have got more done."

Nightfall looked over at the woman and grinned, still not stepping back, still using her mocking tone.
"You're right. I really do not know you. Praise the allmighty ones! I would never have a pussy as my friend. As for my "help", it is only to get rid of you faster. I do not wish to run into you everywhere I walk in my kingdom. And the sooner I never see you again, the better."

Alright, now this was just too much. She was trying even to make peace with the horrible thing, and what was she getting back? Abuse. She stepped forward, one arm pointing to the elf in warning. "You really are messing with the wrong Twili. My goal is to restore purity to my land, but...in the meantime, I have things that I could easily use against you if I chose. Either apologize, or hope you never see me again." After waiting a minute or so for an answer, she turned on her heel and strode away. ((This is what she meant: ))

((Cool. Since Nightfall is a part demon, she would love to play with one of those )) Nessa Telemnar was out in the forest, taking a walk in the lovely weather. The sun was shining down on her long, golden hair, and that was giving her soft, fair skin a warm glow. Her blue eyes where glittering like sapphires, and her pink, soft lips parted in a radiant smile, showing off her perfect, white teeth. She was tall and slim, with long, unusually well-shaped legs. Her dress was of pink silk, and she moved gracefully over the green meadows.

((...Which would be the exact opposite of what Midna intended. And she'd be horrified, since that's...well, spoilers later. But her reaction should be fun. )) By contrast, Midna was wrapped in the warm, dim light of her native realm. In fact, the sun shone down on her as well, but her very presence changed it. She sighed, beginning to suspect that she'd never find what she was looking for in this place, and looked around. A light caught her attention, though, and she turned, only to see the strikingly beautiful elf maiden. She was taken aback for a moment, thinking of how much she looked like Zelda...and then she remembered the girl Moonshade's description. Smiling sweetly, she walked up casually next to the girl and fell into stride. "Pardon me...but might you happen to be a 'Nessa'?"

((Hee. I am up for any plot ideas you may have here Please PM me, so we can make a fun plot of it.)) Nessa, who had been standing in her own thoughts, looked up with a gentle smile. She saw a woman with light blue skin, red eyes, and lovely orange hair. She smiled warmly and extended her hand in a friendly greeting. "Yes, I am Nessa. But I can't remember to have seen you around here before. A face as beautiful as yours, I would have remembered. Are you new here?"
